Flame Broiler — Restaurant in Redlands

Update:This is to update my previous Flame Broiler review of this location from a year and a half ago. This company had a change of owners and now is amazing! They cater to their customers so well and help get our orders done with the best quality of food products! Their air conditioner works great! And their atmosphere is great to hang out and eat inside too! Their workers are so friendly. I highly recommend this place now! My fiancé goes there 2-3 times a week.

Old review: Food is great but they haven’t fixed their air conditioning for almost a week. And it’s been hottest time of the summer, over 102°F right now. Therefore the temperature in the restaurant was at least 110°F but probably even hotter than that because of the heat from the oven/stove/fryers/etc being in constant use. Standing in there for just the few minutes waiting for my order the heat made my eczema flare up. I can’t believe the workers have to work in those conditions. Ahh yes, the simple yet healthy and tasty things in life!! That is the flame broiler! The first time I had their chicken bowl my wife picked one up for me. Believe it or not I thought it was steak - not chicken, it was that good! My wife and I love to go there once a week as our new place to dine since covid has made going out to dinner impossible. I don't mean to imply that you can sit down and eat there - we take the food home and enjoy! NOTE: since both of us really enjoy the chicken bowl, with veggies and onions and brown rice, we go on the weekend and purchase the four bowls for $20 special. I can't always finish one bowl in one sitting so sometimes these four bowls turn into eight meals! So we love the extra value of buying for at a time, and that offer so far, is only on the weekends. We have ordered online and it didn’t take long to receive but I mention it because the rice falls apart/separates easily. It has that school lunch rice flavor. Idk if we had a bad batch since it was our first time trying but the bulgogi beef is pretty good. However, the chicken they have was really dry. I did try my best to eat it with an open mind. I only make this review incase someone was thinking of getting something flavorful and savory, which I did hope for, but it had a bland spice typa flavor.
