They clearly are trying to use older cuts of meat here every time I come in there is an issue with me getting the weight and size that I ask for instead of cutting off of the fresh meat they have waiting freshly packaged they try to selle precut meat that has been clearly sitting out all day. They will literally do everything they can to do it in that fashion no matter how many time you ask nicely they seem to have some sort of issue cutting into the fresh meat but would rather come out from the back with mystery meat that is already cut not to the size you request. They will do everything to try to make you take a wrong cut of meat rather than instead going and cutting you a new piece. It was so much hassle to get a fresh cut piece of meat I had to go to another meat market just to get properly taken care of. I highly recommend staying clear of here unless you want old meat that has been sitting for hours. This is consistently the business model here I have been here 3 times and each time have had a hard time with this and this will be my last visit. I sincerely hope you get it together here itâs a shame bc there is a lot of potential but your employees clearly donât care about serving fresh quality meats and thatâs a damn shame. The employee in question is an older man...
Read moreI came here at the recommendation of a coworker and was immediately impressed when I walked in. The store looked like a clean, high end meat market. Definitely not the typical "Carniceria" filled to the gills with sodas, tortillas, and a hundred other nonrelated products. I took a look at all their meats and was happy to see Japanese A5 Wagyu for sale. It looked beautiful and I had to have it. I asked the price for a small package and was told $62.00. I wanted to splurge for my son and I so I bought it. I went home and prepped the meat with a dash of kosher salt as well as a dash of pepper. I fired up my favorite cast iron skillet and cooked the precut Wagyu slices. They only needed about 30 seconds per side to sear before they were ready. I shared them with my 9 year old son and we both absolutely loved it. There was quite a bit of melted fat in the skillet. Don't add any oil. You don't need it. I will definitely be returning to La...
Read moreBad customer service and they treated my mom poorly. Idk if itâs because we went in on a Tuesday but some of the meat on top didnât look as good as the meat under the paper underneath. My mom asked for meat underneath the paper because the meat on top had a lot of bone on it and you pay by the pound and the guy didnât want to give it to her. She then asked if he had a specific cut of meat and he said âyeah in the backâ so she asked to see it and he said âno Iâm not getting it from the back if you arenât sureâ. I think it fair to see your meat before you buy, especially at a carniceria. Not cool to be rude and frustrated with customers, the shop wasnât even busy...
