Was coming once a week. Simple a bit slow but rated good. Last week brought adult daughter. Concerned about life threatening allergy we asked if they could have a bowl with no bananas no coconut. The guy made it . No issues. My daughter is 24, well spoken and communicates clearly. She returned today hoping for the same service and caution. The young male working refused to make her a bowl without banana or Cocunut. Told her she had to have it it is part of the bowl. She voiced again her allergies and how she was just here last week. He said no. I went in to talk to manager about an hour after my daughter left. The same guy who told her no was working. I showed him photo he said yes she was in earlier. I asked him why he couldn’t serve her. He said Bananas come on the bowl. I explained allergy. He said sorry “ English is bad”. I asked for manager. He said not until later. He then said she never said allergies. She communicates clear about her life threatening allergies. He called owner over. At first owner apologized said that he tells them how they have to make it and he was following orders. Then the male suddenly says he doesn’t remember anyone coming in, That no one came in asking for anything. The scared look on his face said a lot. I then told owner your employee , Calmly, he is now lying to you . He began to stand up for his employee. Then began to tell me not to walk into his store and Call his employee liars. ( but my daughter’s one According to them) Not a god place. Rude and looking at reviews three weeks ago he know he has issues with employees. Instead of training or removing them he would rather...
Read moreAs a first-timer, the customer service was great. However, the taste and quality of my purchase was not as good :( I ordered the large Superbowl (roughly $10). After my first spoonful, I instantly regretted my purchase. I am an Acai bowl fanatic and this bowl was very different from what I'm use to having (I usually frequent Beach Bowls Acai Cafe in Torrance, CA--on Crenshaw & Sepulveda). The texture of this location's Acai is similar to a Popsicle--icey and rough. It's not comparable to the typical paste-y and smooth-like quality of the other places I've been to. The granola was very sweet, too :( I only tried this place because I was in the area on my way to work. I'm a little disappointed because $10 was wasted (had to throw my bowl away), but I suppose it is a potential risk when...
Read moreI went there at 7:55 pm (they are suppose to close at 8:30 on thursdays). The girl working there locked the door behind me and was rushing me to pick my order because “she was trying to leave now.” WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! she told me to hurry up and was looking at people knock on the door because they were suppose to close at 8:30. she cut up the fruits and threw them at the bottom of my açaí cup and then threw 2 scoops of açaí on top of the fruit. she squished my fruit. She then continued to hand it to me very rudely and didn’t even give me a reciept. DO NOT GO THERE!!! worst customer service i have ever received. Another açaí place called “Natureba” is less than a mile away and is SOO much better! would’ve gone there but it was closed. I would give this place negative stars...
