I bought firewood advertised as a half cord, 4'X4"x4". It was not even close - less than half of what they advertised. The actual amount was under one fifth cord. The wood included an excessive amount of decomposing logs, splinters, very short broken pieces and kindling size wood, so the useable amount is even less. The wood is also short - 11"-15" - so it will not fit on some racks - since this size makes no sense, I suspect their supplier is cutting the wood shorter to save wood, another scam like the "face" cord (a term which is an outright lie). Note that the wood was simply dumped, not stacked - the picture is after I stacked it. The reason they now get three stars is that delivery was fast/on time, the wood is very dry, and they provided another "tote" of wood hours after I pointed out the shortfall. The two loads together are still not a legal half cord. If you buy a "tote" from anyone thinking it is a half cord, you are getting less than a quarter of a cord - I consider this to be yet another scam by wood suppliers. Even if the outside dimensions were accurate, the wood is thrown in so it takes up much more room and you are getting air. I have had good experiences with Pots & Plants except for firewood, and suspect they too may be victims...

We have just had the most amazing experience with Pia and her Glass House. We celebrated our daughter´s Bat Mitzvah this past week there and we cannot thank you enough Pia for all of your help to make the night an event to remember.

Pia personally came to the venue the day before to help us with the set up (moving furniture, hanging decorations, fielding suggestions). She even stayed after we had left that day to make sure the final touches on the hanging globes were perfect. Everything we asked her for was provided. Her service was impeccable.

This is a small family owned venue and we could really see that Pia cared about how our event was going to turn out. We cannot thank her enough. The ambiance, especially at nighttime, all lit up and with multiple fire pits around the entrance, truly made my daughter feel very special....and that was the most important measure of all.

I made the mistake of buying some trees and shrubs from this nursery. It's a mistake I'll never make again. Nothing I bought from here looked healthy after 3 weeks in my garden. It's taken me close to 3 months and lots of elbow grease to have the plants that survived look in any way presentable and I'm hoping they make it through the winter because they were more expensive than Meadow Farms, which has two locations nearby. I've been told from many people in the community that hired their landscaping service to avoid using them as their installed plants were sick and unhealthy as well. Apparently, one couple had their dog hit by a car when the landscape crew did not properly fix a fence they removed while rendering service. Others have witnessed screaming matches by the married couple as they seem to argue quite often. I cannot in good faith recommend this establishment to friends, family or even people I don't...
