Food quality has taken a massive nosedive and the service is beyond horrible. The woman "manager" wouldn't even get up when we came in or to give us our food; she literally looked over at us and said "your food is ready" and motioned at the counter. She sat at a customer table the entire time we were there, wearing an airpod, watching her phone, and eating (food from a different restaurant), while yelling across the restaurant at the kitchen staff. I've never been treated like such an inconvenience and a nuisance when trying to give a restaurant my business.
They also don't post allergen information anywhere in the restaurant and our daughter was allergic to an ingredient in mayo, which is what they use to marinate their meat (instead of yogurt etc.) The manager just looked at us and said "oh, she can eat french fries", meaning we can go buy the fries for her. Are you kidding me? She also still didn't even stand up or take her airpod out. The kicker? We didn't even know about the mayo until we heard her talking about it while yelling across the restaurant at the kitchen staff, then asked her if they used mayo in the food.
The tables were filthy and someone was storing their E-Bike inside the restaurant near the dining area. The restaurant was literally empty and the staff didn't bother cleaning anything whatsoever. The manager just sat and watched us move a table back, wipe it down, and clean the chairs ourselves. She did get up once - to get herself a popsicle out of the restaurant freezer and sit back down to continue watching her phone while eating it.
To top it all off, the meat was tough and did not taste good. The chicken was burnt on a handful of pieces and the ground chicken was a bit undercooked. All of us didn't feel great after eating there. Except my daughter, who couldn't eat anything except rice and bread. We stopped somewhere else to get her lunch.
Safe to say we will never come back and I regret following through with our meal. We should have taken the abundance of hints from the manager and walked out. Worst restaurant experience my family has...
ย ย ย Read moreDuring a recent visit to Reston Kabob, I had the pleasure of trying their Chicken Kobedeh Wrap, and it was a truly satisfying experience. The wrap itself was generously filled with tender, juicy chicken koobideh, expertly seasoned and grilled to perfection. The flavors were rich and aromatic, a testament to the restaurant's dedication to authentic Middle Eastern cuisine.
The chicken was accompanied by a medley of fresh vegetables, including crisp lettuce, juicy tomatoes, and thinly sliced onions, adding a refreshing crunch to each bite. A drizzle of creamy tahini sauce and a sprinkle of tangy sumac elevated the flavors even further, creating a harmonious balance of savory and tangy notes.
The wrap was served warm, wrapped in a soft, pillowy flatbread that held all the ingredients together without becoming soggy. The portion size was generous, leaving me feeling pleasantly full and satisfied. The place is very clean and welcoming and the service was excellent.
Overall, the Chicken Kobedeh Wrap at Reston Kabob is a must-try for anyone seeking a delicious and authentic Middle Eastern meal. The combination of flavorful chicken, fresh vegetables, and aromatic sauces, all wrapped in a warm flatbread, creates a culinary experience that is both satisfying and memorable. Whether you're a seasoned fan of Middle Eastern cuisine or looking to try something new, this wrap is sure to delight...

Today I went to Reston Kabob becuase I was over that way. There were a few changes to the gyro salad I wasnt ready for. The meat was deliscious, the nan was great, but the salad itself changed. It used to be feta, tomatoes, white onions, a couple of bananas peppers then they would put the tzatziki sauce all over and give you extra to take home. Today's salad had carrot slivers, olives, no white onions, and just salad dressing on the side in 2 containers to take home. I was not ready for this. If I had known I would have asked for the old way they used to make it. Now dont get me wrong, it had great flavor, it was filling, i just dont like the change of ingredients. Sometimes change is not good. Also they send a chickpea in a sauce as a side. I feel it has a cardamon taste to it. Good to try something new. So really just the change in the salad is the only thing I did not like. Everything else, was great and what I remeber.. I will know for next time to ask to make it the original way or you always have their other location which does make it...
