I'm so disappointed with this place. I have been going here for a bit. They are pricy but the 2 techs Cindy and Grace are worth it. However, I went and had my nails done with Cindy on Saturday afternoon. I did white matte and one light pink nail. By the evening, my white nails looked stained. I called first thing in the morning and spoke to Lilly, who I believe is the owner. She then told me white nails do that. Umm no, I've had white polish many times before and my nails never looked stained and definitely not by end of the same day. She tells me I can come in the afternoon to have them "repolish". I go, when I walk in she asks can I help you? I tell her I had called in the morning about my white polish. She asks me to let her see my nails. I walk over to her and she takes my hand. Then starts speaking in Korean or Chinese to another tech standing next to her, who is now looking at my nails as well. She starts to laugh and puts some nail polish remover on a gauze as she looks at me and says that they are stained. Well clearly that's why I called. She then tells me I stained them with either makeup or my clothes. Which again, I've had white polish before and NEVER ran I to this problem. At this point I'm annoyed. She starts to wipe my nails and says "see, they were stained" as she again proceeda to laugh and start speaking her language to the other tech who is now laughing with her. I say "that's very unnecessary" and she just continued laughing. So disrespectful! I had paid $85 with tip. My nails should be perfect. But the whole experience with Lilly was awful. As much as I like the 2 techs I used to see, I will never...
Read moreI was leaving for a trip and wanted to get a regular mani pedi before it. I was going to the place based on reviews and went there for the first time earlier this week. The staff was friendly, and the appointment was going well until the tech doing my pedicure nicked my cuticle too close to my skin on my big toe. I felt it and it hurt but assumed, since I don’t get pedicures done often that maybe I was sensitive. I also had 2 different techs doing my regular mani, pedi. My nails came out decent, I had no problems with the manicure but the whole experience was ruined by the nicked skin. The next day my cuticle was SWOLLEN, RED and I was in PAIN. I had to soak my toes in warm water 3-4 times a day and apply neosporin in hopes that this doesn’t turn into a full blown infection. The area continued to be swollen, and pus started draining from the wound. But the worst part was I had to be so careful on my vacation as to not get the wound wet ( I was going somewhere tropical) or put pressure on it which was so annoying. I wish the tech had asked me before cutting so deep to cause injury. The infected cuticle and the aftermath that ensued makes me never want to go here again. It’s a shame because I liked how my nails turned out and the staff was very nice. So maybe it’s a matter of consistent training ? I don’t know, but wanted to write this review in hopes that this doesn’t happen to...
Read moreI got a gel pedicure two days ago and one nail chipped. I called this place in advance to let them know i’ll be coming in to fix this and they said to just walk in. When I arrived and walked in , the owner looked at me confused and asked what I needed. I explained that I called for my chipped nail and he stumbledhis words and said “you’ll have to wait an hour”?!
He didn’t want to deal with me and sent me to the girl across and she said the same thing.
I was actually in shock because if they knew they get busy around 6pm they should tell their customers to make an appointment (even for one chipped nail). This is the second time this place has truly disappointed me. I walked out of there and will never be walking back in.There’s much better around the area,...
