I met Glen once, He was a cool guy. It was 1898 When I first met him. He in the middle of what would become the park smoking the fattest blunt I have ever seen, although I'm not convinced it was all weed as when he offered me a hit it smelled as though rather than marijuana it was burning my hopes and dreams. On the first hit the world seemed to pull towards a single point on the horizon stretching as if it were on a rubber canvas. When I turned back to Glen he looked different. He said to me "now you see me for what I truly am, the Protector of this forest and all in it. Gaze upon me and feel true bliss." He then went on to speak about sharing his joy with the rest of the world and how he would create a sanctuary for all those who wished to feel safe. And suddenly I was in an open clearing the wind gently caressing my hair and skin, running freely without the trees to stop it. Unfortunately I had gone blind seconds after the blunt, my retinas blasted smooth without a rod or cone to be found, so I was not blessed. But I was able to catch a glimpse of him before my vision was taken. The picture attached is an exact recreation of what Glen the Wood god and founder of Glen Park...

Some lead atop the massive hill/bluffs and provide an epic view.. hope...

There is the pool (fees) and splash pad, restrooms, and several sections with playground equipment. The pool is also reservable for private parties. Can't forget the sand volleyball court. That is on top of the walking trails and views many others have posted, and the new pavilion. Get out...
