Radisson Hotel River Falls — Hotel in River Falls

I blocked off rooms for our 10/5/19 wedding about a year in advance. We blocked off 25 rooms and were guaranteed a room on our wedding night. I confirmed the room multiple times, including 3 weeks before our wedding. I was reassured the bride & groom had a room that night. When we arrived on our wedding night, there was no reservation ever created for us. We were told our block did not exist and no cancellation or anything could be found on our room. There were no other rooms in the hotel. The concierge was rude and short with us. The manager, who was contacted by phone, initially refused to speak with us. When she finally did, we were reassured she would contact us on Sunday to resolve the issue. She never contacted us. We were made aware by several guests that their rooms were not up to standard during their stay- many were only given fresh towels and the beds had sheets thrown up on them. One guest even checked in and entered a dirty room with underwear on the floor, food in the fridge, and stains on the sheets. While those guests were compensated, it negatively impacted the weekend for many. We called 10/7/19 multiple times and left a voicemail asking to be called. No call was received. We filed a formal complaint with corporate and were reassured we would be contacted within 2-5 days. That was also the 7th. At this point, no attempt has been made by the hotel management to resolve the multiple issues or even to reach out to apologize. We filed a complaint with the BBB of Wisconsin and will NEVER recommend this...

We purposely chose this place for the underground parking. And also when booking for a king sized bed. When arriving back to the hotel after attending a show we arrived back to find that there was no parking underground due to multiple people parking poorly and taking 2 spots. When entering the hotel we were told that they knew about the parking situation and that they were trying to figure out who it is. I'm confused as to why they would not know this information being that we had to provide our vehicle information. We were directed to park in a lot that was once owned by the hotel across the way. I am currently in a cast due to surgery so having to park and then having to go additional distance to return to the hotel was disappointing as I am not to be standing for more than 5 minutes. Added to the fact that our booking was for a king bed and when arriving was told we were being given a double queen room because we booked through a 3rd party site that room requests are not honored and that they were full and wouldn't be giving us the room we were expecting. The internet is a little slow in reference that a download that normally takes seconds at home took about a minute, but if you can't be patient enough that's on you. I will say the breakfast sausage was delicious and the eggs were fluffy and wonderful with no seasoning. I have done performances at this location several times. On Saturn Feb 22, there were several hockey parties. Screaming, shouting, and parents in another area in the lobby, while their children ran wild, jumping on furniture, throwing pillows, and a hard rubber shaped hockey puck that landed on my lap. Me: "Can you please throw that by your parents?" Anither child jumping on the ottoman i had my feet on and jumping to the sofa and chairs. Me: "Please stop. " FINALLY, a mom comes over and says, "Are you being respectful?" Children; "NO!" Mom; "At least you are all honest. " Me: I shrig my shoulders and look at her while my inside voice is."WTF?" Another parent commented after one of the stage hands asked her in the hallway to keep the noise down. Her reply was, "I didn't sign up for this." Good thing I didn't hear that nugget I would have told her; "You didn't obviously sign up to be a good parent." The parents are more rude than their children. Having a sweet 11 year old girl watch over their children so they can drink and not care. The parents were spoken several times about beor. If you care about your business, is it REALLY worth booking hockey families at your hotel? There are several hotels in the Wisconsin area that will refuse hockey families due to not having the staff babysit their children while they drink and party.
