Shockingly terrible owner. My family and I were interrupted during a move by the "owner" who said we were video recording the movie, which we weren't. She then told me that it was me recording the move. I then informed here that I don't even have a phone with me as it is at home so it's impossible for me to record. An older woman then came into the lobby, who I found out was my accuser, and said it was the wrong "bald" person and the owner had the wrong person... I got NO apology from the owner. After missing over 5 minutes of the movie I wanted my money back, which she refused until I asked her over 10 times to please give me my money back. She told me that she was the owner and she can do whatever she wants.... it's obvious that the movie theater was handed down to her from her father as she is clueless on how to treat customers.... I mentioned that I have been watching movies here for over 30 years and have never been treated like this, to which she responded that I have not been attending that long as she personally knows all of her regular customers, really? All the regular customers she knows personally? It's quite sad, I can only imagine how embarrassed her father would be to see his daughter treat customers like she did. Read moreIt is extremely unfortunate that this review is being given with a 2 Star, when I would have been more than pleased to give it 5 stars prior to my experience yesterday. As a customer that comes to the Falls Theatre often, I was truly shocked to see a 200% increase in the price of a movie ticket. I was also genuinely impressed because an increase in movie ticket prices means that there has been updates, and their customer base is strong enough to increase the price! Now, don't get me wrong, $4.00 is still QUITE the bargain when purchasing tickets!! ESPECIALLY for a college student!!! However, a woman (who seemed to be a manager/owner) heard my shock in the price increase. Her response was less than appreciated. For someone who was speaking to her CUSTOMER, her response was utterly disrespectful, unprofessional and rude. It is quite a shame for me to have to say goodbye to the Falls Theatre. If your looking for that old school theater experience that you had as a kid, that experience that made you say oh we better get there early to get good seats. Then look no further. This place will bring that magic back. It will make you feel like your back in the 90s. Well at least for me. I missed that. Sure the new amenities are great at the new bigger theaters but your missing the magic tingly feeling that you get from a place like this. The feeling when Peter Pan(Robin Williams) finally found his happy thought and could fly again and you had goosebumps all over. Bring back your inner child magic, and come check out a small town gem.
