Boot Barn — Attraction in Riverdale

To whom it may concern, I am a 20 year 3 Iraqi tour veteran of the Army, while on an outing with my wife we had stopped by your location in UT and while I was waiting for 3-4 mins for an associate to come to the counter to help me I inquired about a military discount. I was told that they only do active duty, which I understand because of the things they do for me and the my family and the rest of this country but that rubbed me the wrong way. I purchased what I had gotten went outside and came back in and got my refund because I feel that me and my other fellow veterans that do carry a military ID card wether it be active or not deserve that same benefit because you enjoy your freedom not just because of those active duty people but because of us veterans from the past also. I will no longer be bringing my business to you and I will let my fellow friends to boycott you because of your policy. Thank You SFC...

ILLEGAL BUSINESS PRACTICES I am usually a big fan of boot barn, but my recent experience has resulted in my refusal to return. Every Christmas, Boot Barn sends out a coupon for $15. The details on the coupon clearly state a minimum of $15 is required, as it has been in past years. After spending quite a bit of time choosing my purchase, the lady at the register informed me that I could not use the coupon because they printed it incorrectly. She stated that this year, you need a minimum of a $30 item in order to use the $15 coupon. She admitted that the coupon said differently, but that they couldn't accept it. There is a term for this, and it is called phishing. Highly illegal and Boot Barn has used it. This illegal business practice draws customers into the store with a deal that is a scam. Very disappointed...

So walking in the door it was an all experience seeing all of those boots it was really cool the problem that we had is the sales people that walk around are so incredibly pushy I do not know if they are on commission or what it is but we we walked out of there because of how pushy they were you know we were looking for the right boot for the right size and then they wanted us to buy it online without even trying it on and just ridiculous stuff that you just don't do I mean that's why they're there to try on the work boots so that they can see how they feel they can't try them on when they buy them online so it's just frustrating that they run around and they're just pushing you so hard to try to find a boot and buy a boot and buy it here buy it online buy it anywhere so we walked out.
