If it is your first time going to get subwoofers or audio equipment installed. This is the place to go! Soon after receiving a decent size paycheck i had called up Advanced Car Stereo and spoke with a guy named damian, and had asked if i could come in to get a subwoofer installed in a 2020 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. And Although it was roughly 3 hours till closing he managed to get me into the shop last minute. Upon arrival i had quickly got in touch with Damian and the owner of the establishment Ramin. Right off the bat Ramin gave welcomed me with a smile and a passion for quality audio. And had made clear he does not want to just focus on any one thing, his main objective is to provide the customer with an "Experience" Which he demonstrated really well with allowing me to hear his customized tesla audio setup. Before that opportunity i hadn't cared much for vocals or high pitched instruments in music. But Ramin really helped me appreciate the depth that surround sound like presensce brings in the music. Having had the tesla demo Ramin proceeded to explain the impact on sound quality that would take place if a speaker is provided a wall around it to keep the sound facing a particular way. Shortly after that i also had the opportunity to go over my expectations on what i was looking for with Damian. And after some demonstrations of 2 10"s in his wifes car and car and 2 12"s in the shop i already knew i was going to haveto get the that setup of 2 12's However come the time to discuss finances and equipment, i had let Damian know how much i was working with which was roughly half a thousand. And i had absolutely no idea how expensive a system was prior to walking into the shop. But he let me know at the time of checking out the shop speakers and while at the desk. That kind of system would be more in the 2000 to 3000 range depending on if i was going to get some extra mid range and tweeter speakers. Having gone with the 3000 route he helped me get on a financing plan with Zero interest which was definitely music to my ears since i had no idea how much everything would be together. But Damian definitely broke it down in detail at some point regarding the Amp, Subwoofer, Box, Wire, Labor, Etc cost at some point. Now frankly if it was before or after discussing finances but Damian had also given me the choice between coaxial speakers or pairs of component mid range and tweeter speakers for the roof. And having gone with the latter i couldn't be happier after he brought to my attention how going with the individual speakers would provide better clarity. but with the drawback of reduced volume in the end. Which i'm completely content with. With all that being said. In about a couple of hours the car was out the shop and Bumpin'! I was informed that at the time i was going to be using a provisional enclosure for the subwoofer at the time, which had a single port. That said the best was yet to come since Damian had mentioned they were going to be having the box dual ported enclosure made within less than a week. (Which is the one shown in the photos) and during that instance of the use of the provisional box. It was not much of a draw back given he had also let me know i need to break in the subs for the week and keep the bass knob roughly half way to prevent the subwoofers from being burnt out since they were brand new. But now that i just came back earlier today, i got the new enclosure. It's by far better than expected. Not only did Damian Hook me up with a pair of high quality Audio Control Spike Series 12 inch Subwoofers to have been thrown in that solid dual port box. But that Lc-1.1500 he got put in there drives those subs with no problem whatsoever. I can hear and feel low frequencies i never thought i would have the pleasure of hearing and feeling And i have the customer satisfaction of knowing not only am i in good hands but i can ask as many questions as i'de like and the people at Advanced Car Stereo will always have an answer. Thank you Guys for the amazing System! And Welcome to anyone new to the establishment!

Here is a part two of the review with the receipt since somebody from the shop believes I am a liar. In the receipt shows what I purchased. I purchased the JBL BassPro Hub for $550 and the Sony XS-692ES for $500, but when I returned to pick up my vehicle, I found that the JBL BassPro Hub was replaced with a cheaper $350 Cerwin Vega VPAS12ST, and the Sony XS-692ES was replaced with the cheaper $400 Sony XS-162ES. The receipt I received clearly shows the products I purchased and I even provided screenshot showing each their respective prices, as well as the products that were actually installed. The difference in prices amounts to a total of $300, not including the taxes. My vehicle also suffered frame damage on top due to the shop's improper jacking. I didn't want to make it a big deal about it, but when I returned to the shop to address these issues, I was met with mockery and disrespect, directly from Josh. I was told that the difference in price was "not a big deal" and that the "products were all the same", despite the fact that I was charged for more expensive items and received cheaper alternatives. He even clowned me, telling me "oh you want 20 bucks back". I got scammed and screwed over. I don't know what happened with the fall off of quality and service these last few years, I remember shopping there years ago for my previous car, a Nissan Altima, and they did great, especially a guy named Jason I met back then that hooked me up. Great dude. Overall, I am extremely disappointed with the service I received at this car audio shop. I hope that by sharing my experience and proof, others can avoid falling victim to similar scams and mistreatment.

I visited Advance Stereo earlier this year to have a simple car alarm installed. Unfortunately, what started as a straightforward service turned into a frustrating and costly ordeal.

While I was initially understanding about the extended time it took to get my car back, I expected the delay to be due to meticulous work. However, the next day, I noticed that the a-pillar in my car kept coming off—something that hadn’t been an issue prior to the installation. It was clear that whoever worked on it had been careless.

When I brought the issue to their attention, they attempted a quick fix with glue, which was not a satisfactory solution. After speaking with Jason, the manager, he suggested I purchase a replacement part myself, with the promise that they would reimburse me. Finding the part was incredibly challenging and time-consuming. When I finally located and purchased one, they told me it was the wrong part and refused to reimburse me.

The situation dragged on for months, beginning in June, with no resolution. They eventually agreed to order the correct part, but it was backordered. Throughout the process, I had to make numerous follow-up calls, as they rarely provided updates. Each call involved long hold times and unhelpful responses, giving me the impression that they didn’t care about resolving the issue.

As this is my work car, I had to incur additional costs, including toll road fees, to repeatedly bring my car to their store. To make matters worse, the broken part they caused left my car exposed and even became a safety hazard when it came off while I was driving. This experience left me feeling that the age of my car may have influenced the quality of service I received.

After wasting months of time, effort, and money, the issue remains unresolved. I cannot recommend Advance Stereo to anyone. Their lack of accountability, poor customer service, and disregard for safety make it clear that you should look elsewhere for your car audio and...

Advanced Car Stereo in Riverside has been my go-to shop for all of my car stereo needs for the past three years. With 28 years in business and an incredible commitment to their customers, Advanced Car Stereo is a force to be reckoned with in the car audio market.

From the moment I walk into the store, I am greeted by friendly staff who are more than willing to help me find what I need. Whether it’s new speakers or installing a new stereo system, these guys know how to get the job done right. The store also stocks a variety of other automotive electronics such as amplifiers, subwoofers, Bluetooth receivers, and more.

Their prices are reasonable and they have great deals on parts and installation packages that you can’t get anywhere else. On top of that, they have a wide selection of brands from which to choose, so you can be sure to find something that suits your budget and needs.

I appreciate the fact that Advanced Car Stereo Riverside takes time to explain what each product does and how it works before selling it - this helps ensure customers understand exactly what they’re getting for their money. They also provide expert advice on different audio systems so you can make an informed decision when buying a new setup.

What really sets Advanced Car Stereo Riverside apart from its competitors is its excellent customer service and support. Whenever I have had an issue with my stereo system, they have been quick to respond and willing to help resolve any issues I may have had.
