I do enjoy Del Taco. More times than not, great service. Not necessarily THIS Del Taco. The past 2 times the lady working has gotten my order wrong, which means she is not listening to what the customer is ordering, or just doesn't gaf. Which might be the latter, because she isn't all that friendly either. The first time I ordered the Chicken soft Taco combo, but no salt on the fries. We got to the window paid, then she asked us to back up to some red line. I told my husband she was going to give us the fries that were already in the fry bin. Sure enough, that's exactly what we got, salt warm and cold fries. We went again tonight 2.13.22 around midnight. Same lady. Ordered a Beef Burrito combo and Chili Cheese Fries. We got the Chili Cheese fries, but the fries were cold and it looked like the chili was just sauce spread on the fries and WHAT cheese. The combo came with fries and a drink, right? We got a burrito, a drink and 2 Chicken Taco al Carbon. WTH!!! Also, asked for Del Scorcho, got mild. And no receipt. My husband didn't feel too drive back, which is probably why she doesn't care whose order she gets wrong. Most people probably don't go back. I also tried to call, but no answer and no voicemail. So I am making this post!

Lifelong Del Taco eater here. I started working at one for a couple of years as a senior in high school. It’s my preferred fast food with a drive thru (unless I need a particular So-Cal burger). I think it’s best quality of fast food from a corporate chain you can get from a drive-thru window-especially at all hours of the night.

At times, the quality of the food and customer service can fluctuate drastically from location to location, service reflecting on whoever’s working at the time, right?

Now, I’ve had my ups and downs with this particular Del Taco and it had been a minute since my last visit. However, I just went there two late nights in a row. Last night and the night before.

I just wanna say that the girl working the graveyard drive-thru shift is doing an awesome job.

Working nights is hard enough, much less at a fast food place manning the drive-thru.

I didn’t get her name, but she is just the right amount of friendly in order to maintain efficiency, polite, accommodating, quick and accurate - I happen to be that customer who habitually customizes menu items.

Seriously though, she acts like she actually cares about what she’s doing. Which is somewhat of a rarity these days.

I just hope the upcoming JITB merger doesn’t...
