Had a wonderful time with my son for his birthday. The parking was very confusing because if you go down Diana, where the main entrance with big arrow signs pointing to the gate is closed during the week when the rides are closed. There is an entrance on Polk where they leave the gate open not even halfway, it doesn't look like it is where customers would pull in from the street. It looks like an employee entrance only to be honest and there are signs posted on this same gate pointing and directing you to go to the entrance on Diana. The mini golf took about an hour, kept him entertained. The staff are super friendly and helpful, I had nothing but a great experience with them. The supervisor on site was very helpful and was able to refund my parking voucher after it was scanned by mistake. The only problem I had was when we went into the arcade to have a snack and cool down after our golf, I got bit up by mosquitoes in the 15-20 minutes we were sitting at the tables. We were going to stay for some games, but I couldn't stand all...
Read moreI have driven by Castle Park so many times in my life and I have always wanted to visit but never had the chance until now.
Sadly, due to the pandemic the majority of the park was closed.
The miniature golf courses were open and that was the main reason for our visit, so it worked out in that regard.
They have four different courses which are pretty standard as far as putt-putt courses go. The decorations on the courses are quaint and well designed and the difficulty is medium, imo.
The only negative thing that I can say is that this place is showing its age a bit. The fairways are a bit run down and the multiple palm trees on site drop a lot of debris which can mess up your shots if you don't clean things up before playing.
They are offering unlimited playtime though, which allowed us to play multiple times on two of the four courses.
We spent about two hours playing and we had a good time, regardless of the conditions.
If you are looking for an old school mini- golf experience then you can't go wrong with...
Read moreI took my 4 and 8 yr old kids and we had a very good time we spent all day there riding unlimited rides and unlimited miniature golfing. I spent under $100 and that was including our evening meal. I bought the Dukes Duo instead of $19.99 each it was $14.99 each because I've got AAA. They also had extra large jugs for free ice water refills which was awesome we always had full water bottles... Now for the negatives, The restrooms need better ventilation, air flow, and supplied and cleaned better they were either out of TP, Toilet Covers in one stall or both, sadley pee or water in the floors next to the toilets for easy slipping into. They need to have security out more especially at the golfing exit when they close the park reentry gate we parked by the main entrance across from the fwy and had to walk around the park and it wasn't well lit at all, luckily we ran into a park/arcade staff member taking out trash and directed us towards the...
