Boba Station — Restaurant in Riverside

Pretty surprised by this spot! It’s a kiosk—though a really beautiful and eye-catching one. The stand looks great, but the menu is oddly placed right next to the cashier, so it's easy to miss. I had to walk over to see it, and the cashier just stared at me the whole time—not rude, but not exactly friendly either.

That said, I think this might be one of the more affordable boba places around. I got a jumbo drink with cheese foam and boba pearls for under $10. The foam was creamy but didn’t have much of a cheese flavor. The pearls were good, and the flavors overall were on point. The cup, though, was hilariously wide—kind of awkward to hold with one hand.

I probably wouldn’t go out of my way for it, but if you’re already at the mall, it’s definitely a solid...

I wouldn’t even know what the drinks taste like, I would have loved to have one after I made an instacart delivery for the manager Gina of 15 gallons of milk plus groceries but I was laughed at and treated terribly by her after asking for a cart to help (which she rudely said she didn’t have) then I brought her 2 loads in 100 degree heat (while crying and having a panic attack bc of the heat and strenuous distance to the restaurant). I asked one more time for help before I was about to collapse and she says she has a cart but it’s dirty… this woman should have nothing to do with the public. Nobody deserves to be treated the way I was today and then laughed at! I hope the owner sees this and takes some kind of action...

Usually I go there and have a great experience. Today I went there and a taller gentleman was not wearing a mask or gloves while preparing customer drinks. But the other two girls working with him were. (He was also breathing all over with his mouth hanging open.)

I watched him prepare my drink and then put the lid on my drink with his bare hand (directly where you drink out of)

I asked very nicely if he could replace the lid with a fresh one with a gloved hand. And he acted shocked.

Normally this wouldn’t bother me- but in a pandemic, right after masks are required again in indoor spaces??? Yeah, I’d like the person preparing my food to...
