Visited for the first time today, and the ice cream was delicious. Purchased some chocolates as well to try. The gentleman helping us was very polite and efficient. We sat at a table that happened to be next to the owners who were in a meeting, but the owner took time to talk to my rambunctious 4 year old and offered to share his chocolate pretzels with my kiddo and he took time to remember his name for when we left to say goodbye, which I thought was super nice. Pricing wise I felt they were on standard average for the icecream, if not slightly underpriced for the product. Only issue/warning I have is if you have a kiddo that you definitely have their hand held when you first walk in because there are a lot of breakable items on your way to the icecream. Read moreThe first (and last) visit to this store….due to the immature, adolescent teenagers working this evening (May7th) After a lovely Mother’s Day dinner with my son and my mother, we decided to check this place out. My mother caught the eye of one of the boys and it was clear he knew she was upset - to the point where she cut our visit short and demanded that we leave. It was disgusting - a lovely Mother’s Day dinner ruined by infantile actions of immature employees. Surely there must be other places with overpriced merchandise and ice cream that you can spend...
Read moreSugar Magnolia is a card, candy, and gift shop with bright, beautiful, and flavorful treats for yourself and others. The shop is well laid-out and organized, with aisles wide enough to accommodate walkers and small wheelchairs, however seeing and reaching from a chair for some merchandise might be risky or undoable. Clever offerings, some seasonal, are mid to high-priced, in a decidedly southern style, and will not be to everyone’s liking. Parking spaces are available directly in front of the shop. The young staff was gracious and, finding that I only wanted to browse, left me alone. Patrons can also purchase coffee, tea, ice cream, and other sweet treats, and some tables are available under the front awning. There is another Sweet Magnolia shop, which I have not visited, in...
