I used to go to this theater on quite often when I was a kid, and was finally able to return for the first time since I was a kid, I purchased the ticket online which seems simple enough, but it didn't give you a barcode it only said the seat number and auditorium and to show the email to a staff member, when I arrived it was open and nice-looking much lke theaters used to be, but no one was working at the desk so there was no one to show the ticket to or to get it printed, I went to the snack bar to check out the prices and see if I could get something, unfortunately the prices are somewhat higher than other theaters so way too outrageously expensive to afford anything. Also the restrooms floors and sinks and around the toilets were clean, but the metal walls to the stalls had a sick layer of dust on the top, and smears of grease and filth all over them is if they haven't been wiped down in a very long time.
I went to my seat of which the auditorium was very nicely set up clean well laid out and great seats, although everything looked nice, the moment the sound started became like a nightmare. it was so loud that you could feel the vibrations in the walls, floors, seats and even your bones, before the movie even started I tried putting in kid earplugs that I will use if the movie is slightly too loud, even then it was way too loud, so I tried putting in the regular adult ear plugs, even with that it was still far far too loud, so I went to complain about the sound level and to lower it, as I exit the auditorium and I'm walking down the hall with the door closed behind me, it was still able to be heard as if I was in the room, after trying to get them to lower the sound, it is unlikely that they lowered it at all because I could not tell the difference, the sound vibrating off the walls kept distracting during the movie, after going to the movie I had a severe migraine for at least a couple days because of it. They eventually got in touch with me after writing a review.
Second experience update, seeing if it was just a one-time experience, so far not very good, I tried to buy a ticket online again but it will not let me choose a seat and doesn't say why, Worked eventually. I went to a flashback the sound was just right, the atmosphere was good and clean, but this time the lights were left on all the away, through the entire movie, until literally the last 5 minutes of the movie, then turn them off completely, and because there's no credits at the end it was completely black inside, not even the guiding lights on the floor to guide people to and from auditoriums, so we had to wait for them to turn them back on.
as much as I love the movie, it was extremely unrelaxing trying to watch the movie with lights on all the way blaring from both sides. They literally left the lights on full, and by the time anyone would realize that they're not going to turn the lights off, the movie has already started, and you would have to get up during the movie that you paid for, and miss it just to tell them to turn the lights off.
Update from lights being left on response from emagine theater, they said that they did that on purpose for for some random group that has a chance of coming, they said they leave it on slightly brighter for people to interact. It would have been perfectly fine if the lights were left on slightly, but they were left on all the way. Then they responded saying that it tells you that this is going to be the situation clearly stated, it was not not from where I purchased my tickets online, but their apology wasn't really an apology it was basically stating that dementia friendly was clearly stated, as if that's supposed to tell Me that the lights are going to be left on all the way through the whole movie, and that if I see some random wording on a movie, I can call them or get in touch with them to find out what it means, who would be willing or have time to do that just to find out what is up with a certain movie playing at their theater! Strongly discouraged choosing...

I do not recommend this theater if you care about your hearing or being respected as a supporter, if I am able to go to another movie at this theater, I will update as to how that experience goes, this will be my...
Read moreWe had an awful experience tonight. First of all I agree with another reviewer in that it's difficult to get more than 2 seats together when booking online (which you have to do for the newest movies to even get seats at all). We wanted the reclining seats so we took 3 seats in the 3rd row, which is the handicap row. Well, it's not clear in the disclaimer that the handicap seats are actually NO SEATS AT ALL. It states in the disclaimer that you may have to forfeit your seat and I understand that. But no seat at all?! Why would I want to sit on the floor thank-you!!! You can have it! So my husband had to sit separate from us anyhow (in the last seat available in the theater). Then, after my sister and I got our RECLINER seats that we paid a premium for, we realized that our seats didn't even recline. So I again had to get up and ask for help with our seats. An employee checked out our seats and then proceeded to tell us that no seats actually reclined in the handicap row. Hello, didn't we pay for reclining seats!?!? I then asked the employee to get me the manager because the movie started and I had already gone out there twice. He never got the manager. We decided to watch the movie and our necks were in pain by the end of the movie because without the reclining option those seats actually push your head forward when in the upright position. When I spoke with the manager after the movie she refused to refund our tickets or offer us ANYTHING because we had already watched the movie. I'm sorry, but we should have been given something for our poor experience, at the very least an apology. I think it's terrible that they charge you a premium for reclining seats when they don't recline at all! And the online booking system really needs to be more clear on the actual handicap row and what it is. Lastly, when you ask for the manager to come to you after you've gotten up twice already they actually should come! You...
