I have immense respect for Alexandria & her gifts, and it was important to me that I provide a thorough review. This is gonna be long, so here we go ...

I have been seeing Alexandria regularly for the past few years and I can say, unequivocally, that she’s truly talented. In these last few years of seeing her (sometimes more than 2x/ month!), she has helped guide me through some major highs and lows. And I can tell you, there hasn’t been one time that she wasn’t spot-on. She’s pin-pointed some pretty specific things in my life, w/ startling accuracy, including my marriage (right down to the month/ season!). Lol she’s also told me which psychos I should avoid (and in one case specifically, it was not what I wanted to hear but, she was so right).

I appreciate Alexandria’s candor & compassion, especially when she has to communicate a challenging message. To balance these difficult messages, she is able to provide intuitive guidance regarding how you should navigate these rough waters. She’s very balanced and, even in delivering a bright reading, she does provide the insight to help keep you grounded. In other words, she isn’t going to give you doom-&-gloom w/o trying to help you get past it w/ minimal pain....but she’s also not going to give you what you want to hear. She’s going to be truthful. And if you can’t handle the truth, maybe you’re not ready for a reading w/ her. Also, if you’re not ready to be receptive and take inspired action based upon your reading, don’t get mad when you don’t get exactly what you want. Alexandria is an intuitive ... she’s not your mother. She can’t make you do anything. So if you’re not seeing a result in your life that aligns w/ the readings, there’s a good chance that you might have some work that you’re not doing.

I very seldom write reviews, but in this case, it is important to me that Alexandria be given the credit she is due. She’s talented, gifted, reliable, funny, creative...and most of all, she’s truthful!

I use to love Detroit Tarot when Alex was just operating out of that little yoga studio. When they branched I was so happy but then it came to a point where it seemed more about money than it was about helping people. I've been loyal to Alex and have tried other readers but no one resonated as much as Alex did with my life. I have been waiting to see her since she closed off and I felt like I was treated with the utmost disrespect and even hung up on. I really needed Alexandria and her help because I am going through something horrible and that is how I was treated being a customer for over a year. A loyal one at that. Now it just seems they are all about money more than they are about helping people and I got that vibe. I'm not saying it's the readers but the owners. They were always 5 stars to me, but now I don't even know if I want to go back based on the disrespect I was given. Places I believe should help people not turn them away, or become more into the money than the helping like it use to be. I just don't know if this is the place I thought it was because even as a "loyal" customer that sure doesn't matter to them. I am very disappointed in them and I never thought I would have to say that. But my heart is hurt, broken, I'm telling them I need help and they turn me away. Unbelievable and I would suggest doing research of other places that maybe don't ever treat you with disrespect, say they only are trying to help people but when someone actually is in NEED of help they don't seem to care. The shop itself and retail employees were amazing . The staff in the shop were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. However, I booked a much needed 45 min reading which was a big splurge for me and I was so disappointed with this one . I have had two readings done here over the past year or . This was my second . The first was so-son and the most recent one was just awful. My reader was new and I knew this when I booked but I love an underdog and new energy so I went for it . During out 45 min together when was asking me yes/ no questions like and then just saying nothing . For example “Do you have a brother ?Goes he have brown hair?” And then said oh or shook her head . It felt like a cross between a therapy session with information I shared myself thinking it may spark some Connection and someone practicing Just learning how to read cards . She would tell me what the card itself meant generically, like “you are strong” but nothing more to build on that . I already know the generic meaning of the cards because I have been reading my own as a hobby for a while. I’m not well versed but I know the meanings of them. I wanted to know how they relate To my life personally. That was my point in making the appointment . I was so disappointed. I spent $90 on something I would have gotten more from watching a you tube video titled love tarot for Cancers. Come to think of it she did not even ask me my Birthdate.
