Saw the 9:30 viewing of venom. Upon entering there were paper towel on the floor in front of the butter dispenser just layered over top of a metric crap ton of butter that had either been spilt or leaked onto the floor, it was ALOT. Seats were kind of dirty and nasty, had to look at them and choose other seats before sitting down. Two large drinks and a large popcorn were $31. Concessions employees told us multiple times and raved over the fact we could get refills on everything large and said we could get refills even after we left our movie, come out of our movie to get a refill and the concessions are closed with employees still behind the counters. Security guard was immediately telling us they were closed as soon as we came walking up with empty drinks to have refilled. The last movie showing was at 11:25 or so, but to have an employee tell us multiple times we could get refills after leaving our movie and then not be able is pretty …idk annoying. The only reason we even got large was so we could get refills because we originally wanted smaller sizes but changed our minds after the employees told us over and over again that we could get refills with a large. If you know your concessions close before movies end don’t advertise or tease refills. Every time we’ve went here for a movie it’s something. To essentially spend around $80 for food (two large drinks and a large popcorn) and two tickets and consistently receive an experience worth way less than $80 is quite disappointing. I’d rather stay home and buy or rent a movie and watch it in my clean home. I can see why movie theaters are actively dying out. Clean, desirable, and professional establishments are very few and far between and I’ve gotta say, this is not any of those three things. If there’s a next time I’ll take pictures to back my word on the condition of this place. There’s many other reviews speaking to the condition as well tho...

First off...most movie patrons these days purchase their tickets online which is probably the reason why the box office is closed. However, there are some people who go to the theater and purchase their tickets there. Not unreasonable. But here is the problem.....
...the only place here to purchase your tickets other than online is at the concession stand...where other people are trying to buy refreshments.
Now you would think the smart thing to do is to have separate lines for people purchasing tickets and separate lines for people buying concessions...right?
NOPE! Not here!
So imagine going to the concession stand with your ticket in hand ready to buy some popcorn and a drink and standing behind someone who hasn't purchased a ticket and they are taking a good 5 to 10 mins just trying to decide where they want to sit (because these days, not only are you buying a ticket but you are choosing where to sit and with a group of people, everyone wants to sit somewhere different). So they take the 10 mins it takes to chose where to sit......AND THEN they decide they are hungry and now they are still holding up the line trying to decide what they want to eat.
I have literally seen a transaction with one group of people who didn't buy a ticket before hand take up to 20 minutes while other people who already paid for a ticket have to wait to get something to eat.
I can't for the life of me understand why they don't have separate lines for ticket sales and concession sales to keep the lobby crowd down to a manageable level.
Speaking of the lobby...there also not always someone there to check tickets when you enter the building, so I believe they have a problem with kids sneaking into theaters that they haven't paid for. I was watching Wicked there and a few kids got busted sneaking in without paying.
They need a complete overhaul on how they...
Read moreI visited this theater today to see Tenet. I traveled about an hour and a half, since the theaters in my state aren't open yet. I was very disappointed with the sound quality. The audio was mixed horribly, meaning that the sounds that seemed like they should be in the background were front and center, and the dialogue was almost unintelligible. The bass was super loud, just overpowering anything else. I waited about 45 minutes just to make sure it wasn't the movie itself. I walked out and spoke to one of the workers, and he told his manager over his radio about the problem. Well, he told him the wrong theater. So after waiting another 30 minutes or so, I had to walk back out, find a manager and explain the issue. After another 15-20 minutes, I guess the manager turned the volume down, because it got a bit quieter. But the he did nothing about the mix. So, the dialogue was even quieter than it was before, and still couldn't be understood over everything else. I appreciate that the manager tried something, but he could have at least checked with us after the movie let out to see if we were satisfied. And on a side note, I recall as I was waiting to buy a drink, a guy came out from one of the other theaters asking for help because there was no picture in his theater. And after reading some of the other reviews here, maybe they should close back down so they can figure out all these issues.
Edit: So, I did some searching about audio issues for Tenet, and it turns out many others have experienced the same thing. It looks like the filmmaker intended for the audio to be mostly unintelligible. So, I upped my rating from 2 to 3 stars. It wasn't the theater's fault for the sound mix, but it was still way too loud, which they did...
