I had a experience a GFS I went to the shop for food with my link card with $535 on my card. I went to the cashier there was a rude young lady I must say. The item was $134.50 I swipe my Link card and said that my car said it's $140 on my car I'm telling them no and i showed them how much is on my card the cashier made rude comment saying that maybe I went to a different store and said you know you went to a different store her I didn't. I told her and her manager this is the first store I went to. So they cancelled the items twice. And I show everything. If I got $535 on my card and you take a $135 and some change my care I would have about almost $400 on my card and you had me to swipe my card and it's says that i only have 140 on my card. That means that they are charging double on link card. So I left. I will never ever Go there again. Even the manager was rude after I showed them after I swipe card how much they took and after they put back twice. But they was being so rude. I will never going back to them again. My family and I always go there for years and get treated like that is crazy and for they trying to take more than what they suppose to take...
Read moreWent online to see if GFS had 5LB Frozen Mac and Cheese instock for $12.99. It said it was in stock. I am handicapped. I paid gas money to have someone pick up grocery item for a family gathering. My caregiver bought the four serving 28 ounce package of the GFS frozen Mac and cheese because they were out of stock of the 5LB for $12.99. I’m out of luck because you can’t refund frozen food. A very nice man was sorry, but unfortunately GFS has issues. How convenient. I take issue with being ripped off. I worked in a grocery store for 33 years.Unacceptable. Tell me why is GFS charging $9.49 for a 28 ounces of elbow noodles and cheese sauce. Especially when you have the same product in 5LB package for $12.99 when in stock. No satisfaction. Thank goodness my care giver didn’t buy 3 boxes! Poor form GFS!...
Read moreI rarely leave reviews, but my experience at this grocery store was frustrating enough to warrant one. The store was a mess—aisles were cluttered with boxes, shelves were half-empty, and nothing was where it was supposed to be. I wasted a lot of time just trying to find basic items like milk and eggs.
The staff didn’t seem interested in helping. I asked an employee where to find bread, and they just shrugged and walked away. At checkout, the cashier was rude and acted like I was inconveniencing them by being there.
On top of that, the prices are significantly higher than other stores in the area, and the quality doesn’t justify it. I bought produce that looked fine on the outside, only to get home and find it was spoiled inside.
Definitely won’t be shopping here again. Save your time and money—go...
