Little Green Apple — Local services in Rockford Township

Black Friday you had a promotion of 20% off your entire purchase if you purchased a red basket. My purchases totaled about $170. with the discount. On Saturday evening I returned to make an exchange of one of the items. I asked if my 20% off would be honored on my exchange and I was told NO. When I asked why I was told it was corporate policy. I have been a loyal customer to Hallmark corporation since 1982 and I cannot believe that a $10 discount on my exchange would bankrupt a store. I live downstate, and my local Little Green Apple Store did not have the item I was searching for. In checking with other locations, I learned that this Rockford store had the item. Never before gone to a Hallmart, didn't really have an idea of what Hallmart was. I just knew you could find some of their brand greeting cards at local drug stores. The store is well kept (clean) , staff is there ready to greet you at the door and always available and asking around if anyone needs help.
