GoRockford — Attraction in Rockford Township

We stayed a night in Rockford. Had a nice classic Italian dinner at Linos (4*). Stayed at the Baymont by the Cracker Barrel. There's a lovely creek there. Walked by it with my dog. The creek is full of litter. Wondering if there is a civic group that deals with litter. It's so sad to see all that trash headed toward the watershed. I'd have a better impression of Rockford if the area businesses cleaned up...

I see these magazines piled recklessly all around town and I'm pretty sure this is one place that this cash strapped city can trim the budget a little. It would be better to save a little on our property taxes than throw around so many full color magazines that are probably costing the city a fortune to print. I'd like to see if it is really doing much to bring in business and justifies...
