**5-Star Review for District Bar and Grill – A Must-Visit in Downtown Rockford!** I absolutely *love* District Bar and Grill in downtown Rockford, IL! From the amazing food to the awesome atmosphere, this place has it all. The **fried ravioli** is an absolute must-try—crispy on the outside, perfectly cheesy on the inside, and served with a delicious marinara sauce. Paired with an ice-cold **Corona**, it was the perfect combo! The menu has so many great options, but this appetizer stole the show for me. What really sets District apart is the **rock and roll vibe**. The **"Wall of Fame"** in the back is incredible—covered with signed guitars and photos from diverse bands that have played here. It’s such a cool touch that adds personality and history to the place. You can tell this spot has real love for music and good times. The service was friendly, the drinks were cold, and the energy was just right—whether you're stopping by for happy hour, dinner, or late-night fun. **Highly recommend** District Bar and Grill for great food, great drinks, and an unbeatable atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back! **⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️**

Food definitely step up from the first time I went there years ago. And the mac n cheese variety is super yummy!! Lots of chicken options, too. Fully stocked bar with beer on tap including Guinness. Went in about lunch time on a Saturday. The place was not very busy, but the service was slow and the bartender seemed annoyed when asked to change the TV station (it had been frozen the entire time we were there until we asked her to change it). The prices were a bit shocking on the beer. $8 for a 20oz. Served in plastic cups. The food prices were not horrible for the mac n cheese but the southwest egg rolls were $13 for 3. Price of going to a bar in the city. 4 beers, 2 appetizers, 1 entree was $82. Plus tip and tax.

Stopped in during ArtScene this year and I have 0 regrets! The place is HUGE, which makes sense for the events they hold there! Staff was super nice and were quick to help me out with getting seated. Waitress came out quickly, was super polite, and the food was at the table before I knew it. Absolutely delicious, 10/10, will absolutely be stopping in again in the future :)! So very disappointing visit tonight! I typically always recommend this place. It's not far from my office and Ioved bringing my team here for meetings. But tonight I had the most awful experience. My 9 year old daughter wanted a burger from here. We go in and order, get our food, fries half way done. The waitress says she's sorry but never offers to clear the so not eaten fries from the tab. No worries! I pay for our food with $100 bill she brings me $66 bucks in change back. I add 4 bucks to the 6 for her tip and leave it on the table. I asked for a receipt and she brings me a receipt that literally says $33.40 -$40.00 =$6.00.we wait for her to return to the table and she doesn't so I walk over on the way out and tell her that's not my receipt she says with an attitude yes it is your receipt yes it is while she's walking to the register. She brings another receipt back with the itemized meals and says here. I point out she shorted me $.60 she says I DONT GIVE CHANGE WE DON'T HAVE CHANGE TO GIVE. I said excuse me? So you're just gonna keep my $.60 she said well I don't have no change we only have dollars. Now this where it takes a turn for the worst. I ask her so if I was $.60 short from paying for our meal would you have accepted that.she gets frustrated cause now I'm raising my voice but you got an attitude cause I asked for a receipt. Now the lady behind the counter asks her what's wrong she explains and they go to talking about how every bar in town rounds up. Well guess what I DONT EFFING DRINK and I'm not talking about rounding up I'm talking about my change why would you refuse to give someone their change and when they ask say you don't have it. Then the other two working the bar while saying every bar rounds up makes me realize they are talking about when you pay cash. I never pay cash here this is my first time doing cash. My point is why TF didn't she say that instead of saying we don't give out change all we have is dollars. Then the guy behind the bar but now on my side finishing a drink tells me $.60 is not that serious give her the $.60 now let me tell you something what if that $.60 meant life or death for me? What if my abuser sent me to get something to eat with the last $100 he had and asked for his exact change back along with the receipt while you sitting here saying it's not that serious and every bar rounds up. Well you can tell now I don't drink and I don't frequent bars. Plus like I said if I was $.60 short from paying for my daughter and I meal would you have let me leave! I will never ever go back and give them a dime of my...

Completely unimpressed with the service and management in this bar. A server approached me when I first pulled out a chair and got my order. She had no idea which dark beers the bar served, so I asked for whatever was on tap. I'm pretty easy to please and don't mind surprises. Unfortunately I was served the hoppiest beer imaginable. I took the drink to the bar, explained the obvious mistake, and asked for a Guiness instead. The bartender asked who my server was, and said she would have to be the one to exchange my beer. First, that is terrible customer service. I had a problem and wanted it remedied. I did not want excuses and shifted blame. Second, I had no idea what the server's name was. She never offered it. Every server looked exactly the same, short with dark hair, so I had nothing to go on. After a little arguing the bartender swapped my drink without further fuss. Then it came time to close out my tab. I returned to the bar, gave my last name, and said I wanted to settle. The bartender told me I had to settle with my server, who had been absent since my initial order. I was tired of this loud bar and wanted to leave, so I told the server to get a manager to bring me my bill. The manager came over and was aggressive immediately. He accused me of yelling at his bartender, which never happened, and then told me the same story about how I had to settle with my server. After explaining about how the server never gave me her name, and how every server in the bar looked the same, especially in such a dark environment, the manager approached several different servers. He held his hand over each one and motioned for me to agree or disagree if that was my server. It was a poor display of management. He should have asked each server if she had served me, and then brought me the bill, rather than making gestures at me from across the bar. It's a pretty terrible point of sale system in place if the manager isn't even able to pull up my bill by my last name. I should not have to track down on an inattentive server to close my tab and get out of this terrible establishment. When I have a problem, I expect the manager to solve it. Aside from the service, the music was deafening. The lighting was abysmal. The bill came from a printer that needed its ink cartridge replaced days ago. I had to turn on the flashlight on my phone to decipher what I owed. This was my first and last visit to...

Used to love to come there once in a while specially when it's down time so I can enjoy a drink or watch a game or just to relax but today i walk in bartender said hi not many people where there so I sit at bar so I can get better and prompt service and and to wait for a friend. Bartender went back to the kitchen come back with a togo order by then a manager on duty walk by me not knowledge or notice I didn't have a drink yet. Than bartender stop to give the to go order to a guy which I'm assuming are her friend have a chat drink some te or coffee and continue her conversation with the other guest while I was seating next to them finally after minutes and they finishing they convo she decided to ask me if I want a drink very very disrespectful and unprofessional wich I state that I was ok that I don't need any she offered menu which I state again that I was ok that she seems to busy she went away and talk to her manager and both where looking at me she come back and told me I could not sat there if I wasn't ordering anything than again she ask me If I want a drink or menu which I state again that I was fine. Then she ask me to leave that I can't be seating at bar if I didn't consume anything which I state i was waiting for a friend that I was fine till she where there than she told me that was her manager police and she was just delivering the message. I felt very disrespected and was so a very unpleasant situation then the bartender told me that was the general manager polices not her she offered me a shot for free or beer for free which I tell her I was waiting for a friend and I don't drink that I could have oask for one if that's what I need that my friend and o where gonna just ate there that I could take my business to somewhere else than she turn rude again and told me I can ask the general manager that she can even call him which I said I would ask him my self by then the manager was outside filming me with out my permission what a awful situation so I decided to leave. It's a long post but I can't let that goes by like nothing I used to work there I used to like the place but situations like this are unacceptable. I would never spend a...
