TORTILLA EXPRESS — Restaurant in Rockford Township

I have dined at this restaurant on two occasions and both times my experience was fantastic. When you enter the restaurant, you have a couple choices. You can sit at the bar or head straight to the counter to order and take a seat at a table in the dining area. When you order you're given an order number. The first time I was here I picked up my food at the counter when they called my number. The second time the food was brought out to me This may vary based on how busy they are. The quality of the food was wonderful both times. I have had tacos on one occasion and a torta on the other. The folks who I was with all really enjoyed the quality of the food and the flavor of the meal. The food is priced appropriately for the quality and quantity you receive and I believe it is a value for such high caliber food. The restaurant appears to have a full bar, and though I didn't sit at the bar on either occasion, I did have drinks and they were excellent. I believe i will all be back soon for another...

#1 Taco Place around. My boyfriend and I came into this downtown area with an opened mind. We just moved here and wanted to explore, and this was by far one our top mentions. This location is very new (considering we went here two weeks ago and it didn’t even hit the map yet) and we thought we hit jackpot. Large atmosphere, lots of seating, very clean, bar area, and the food was fantastic. We ordered steak tacos, a chicken burrito (all build your own toppings!), chips & guacamole, and a horchata. All very flavorful and freshly made to order. Although the horchata is not so sweet.. The chips hot and fresh which was an amazing surprise. Everything was delicious and very filling! (We had to take home leftovers:) ) I recommend everything we ordered, cannot wait to go back for more! Make sure to repeat your order if anyone has trouble understanding :) Very nice staff. When I came into the restaurant I was expecting to see more it still looks like it's under construction. The staff was rude I picked up all the racist vibes,when asked a question about the menu they where very rude,the Taco's where very dry which I ordered the steak tacos to play it safe.I also ordered a margarita which I watched her make from across the room she just went and got the margarita mix and put ice in the cup and a lime slice No shot of tequila at all so I asked her why she didn't add any and she tells me they already put it in there really nasty stated!I would recommend this restaurant to anyone or neither would I return it's been along time since I've been treated so nasty and disrespectful 😔 I guess racism still lives so disappointed I was looking forward to having a Mexican restaurant open up in Rockford especially coming here from Chicago but I want be...
