Overall a great experience. Just have a little bit of feedback: Iâve been to quite a few escape rooms myself (Close to 30). Overall the production quality was great with the exception of the sounds being a little too loud. One problem we had with this room was knowing what to do next. There isnât much direction and flow. Thereâs a lot of locks youâre introduced to right away and you have no direction as to where youâd find these combinations. Itâs hard to distinguish props from puzzle items (I wonât spoil) as well as which things correlate to which puzzle. This room would thrive off of some more direction. This could be accomplished by giving small clues within the room to help direct players on what as to what to do next.
All things aside this was a solid room. The price is a little steep considering other options in the Rocklin/Roseville/Sacramento area. I understand if itâs just a starting price as itâs a new location in an expensive area. This would be a challenging room for beginners. Look forward to seeing what they have in store for the âBunkerâ room they...
Read moreUPDATE: We recently came back and did the Bunker room. It was just as much fun as the Haunting in Crimson room. The story and the puzzles are thought out very well. Not terribly difficult, but they definitely force you to think. My kids (11 & 14) LOVED it and were completely engaged the entire time. 100% recommend this place! Canât wait for them to open up their next room. Weâll be back for sure.
PREVIOUS REVIEW: So much fun! We did the "Haunting in Crimson" room and felt that it was just challenging enough for our group of 6 (ages 10 through 80) and the ambience was amazing. My 10 year-old was instantly hooked and can't wait to come back (neither can I). This is a small family-run business that has obviously put a lot of time and effort into creating a fun experience for their customers. Our host, Trevor, was awesome - very personable and helpful. If you haven't been here before, I would absolutely recommend that you give it a shot and support a local business....
Read moreSuper fun. This was our first experience here. Weâve done a lot of escape rooms, itâs one of our favorite family things to do, weâve done all the other escape rooms in the area and were excited to find this newer one. We tried the Haunting in Crimson room and were extremely entertained. There were a lot of elements but they went together in a logical enough way that it wasnât frustrating at any point. We did ask for help on one of the puzzles because we felt like we were running out of time (even though we really werenât haha). Iâm confident we could have gotten all of it without a hint if we hadnât of thought we were behind. We have an 10 and 12 year old and they were not bored the entire time which hasnât always been the case in some of the other escape rooms weâve done. Enjoyed the theatrics and the design and the sounds, they all added a lot to the experience. Thanks Adventure gamez...
