The Lobster Roller Food Trucks & Rockport Kitchen — Attraction in Rockport

This was the best lobster roll I've had so far. I've been to several places, and this is the best. I still have a few more places on my list to try, but as it stands right now, this is number one. This place is the store front for a food truck, really. I've been in search of a great lobster roll, and I have found it. Lobster rolls are a very subjective topic, so let me list my criteria. First, it has to be cold with mayo. (Honestly, what's the difference between a hot lobster plate and a hot lobster roll? Nothing. It shouldn't even be a category!) Second, the bun has to be grilled (and this place grilled my bun perfectly.) Third, it has to be the right bun. I had one on Saturday where they grilled the crust of the bun. I was like WHAT? It has to be the top slice hot dog bun with white (non-crust) sides, and that's exactly what this roll had. Fourth, it has to be big lumps of claw meat, and again, that's what I got. Finally, there has to be some spices used. It can't be just mayo and meat. It needs flavor, and the flavor here was great. Best Lobsta in Glosta (and beyond)

Their lobster rolls and lobster grilled cheese are the best I’ve had. We shared a grilled cheese in the Rockport location and got very excited when we saw the truck parked T Stage Fort Park! I was going to repeat the lobster grilled cheese, but the woman standing in front of us waiting for her food was raving about the lobster rolls and how she grew up in Rockport and now lives away but will come to eat lobster rolls from this truck, and I can see why!! I generally don’t even eat lobster but my husband and I ordered lobster rolls and they were unreal. Also, both times we have eaten at the Lobster Roller in both the Rockport and Gloucester locations, we experienced the best customer service. Just nice, genuine...

EXCEPTIONAL Lobster roll! Rich flavor, delicately toasted bun & filled perfectly! My pic shows the full sized roll. They also offer a mini for about half the cost. Grilled cheese is offered & mini bags of potato chips. We wanted fries, but they didn't offer them. Enjoyed casual, quaint outdoor seating & watching people while dining.
