If you are looking for a properly priced haircut, this is the place. Rick is 2nd generation , old school barber, so no fancy styling here. Lived in many different areas in the US and always hard to find a guy/girl that could cut my hair constantly without it costing $25+. Rick has never disappointed me. New to the area, he was rude to me when I called looking for directions.i almost went elsewhere, but didn't want to find someone else since I was new to the area. Once there, he asked if I wss the one that called earlier,i said yes explaining I was new here, not know my way around well. My barber in the south took his time cutting my hair, he wanted it to look good, on the other hand Art, cut it in less than 5 min. and I was the only one in the place. As a first time customer. I was treated very poorly and will never return. The owner of Art's Barber gave me a buzz cut down to the scalp with clippers after asking me what kind of cut I desired (I gave clear directions and he completely ignored them). He made negative judgmental comments about race and politics during the visit. I walked out with a terrible haircut that took 4-5 months to grow out.
