Farmers Country Market — Attraction in Roswell

[[[[UPDATE 02/04/2022]]]] COMPLETELY TURNED AROUND!!! IN ONE OF MY FAVORITE PLACES IN THE WORLD SOME KID, ALL GUNG HO PROFILED ME LIKE I WAS STEALING! IN MY 36 YEARS OF COMING TO THIS STORE I'VE NEVER STOLE ANYTHING AND TO NE TREATED THIS WAY IS AN INSULT. GO BACK WHERE EVER YOU CAME FROM KENNETH!!!Love this place, a hometown favorite place. Been shopping here since I was a kid and it is the heart of the barrio's best kitchens. Always fast, friendly, top notch service with a smile. If the owners showed this location the love they've showed the other locations it would definitely get a 5 star rating. Don't know why they treat it like the "red headed step child" they do but it is a shame. This place has always been a huge staple in my life and I always will have/show love to this place that's been feeding me some of the best meals of my life. The meat has always been top notch and I'd like to throw a huge shout out to it's meat department and especially it's Butcher's "Toy" and Jaime, who are always professional and courteous when dealing with me. They as well as a few other employees have always showed/serviced me with a damn near family like treatment and the upmost respect when shopping here for groceries and other essentials like tobacco, hygeine, and an assortment of other household items. The window is a huge plus where I can pay my Excel, PNM and CenturyLink bills, wire money with Western Union as well as get checks cashed not to mention make copies get postage stamps and money orders ,so that's always a huge plus when it comes to convenience factor. It's a nice store considering the location and the surrounding area. They have a good selection for its size and they now have 3 basket sizes to better suit your needs. Small 2-tier, handbaskets, and the original big baskets. They have a good selection of "specialty" meat and you can always ask the meat workers if they have anything specific in the back freezers. More often than not, they're happy to oblige. Cashiers are also typically friendly, though there is the occasional "I clearly don't want to be...

Meh... Well, there is food there... It is not really organized at all. The store just feels cluttered, and has a nasty feel to it. I've hardly ever gone to a grocery store and and come out feeling dirty. The store itself is very, very small. Also, the prices are ridiculous compared to the quality of products, service and overall shopping experience. Don't waste your money here unless you absolutely have to. Otherwise, go to Albertsons or the Country Farmers...
