Hangar 209 — Local services in Roswell

My experience here in the store Hangar 209 was amazing! I came here to Roswell with my family and, to be honest, was disappointed with the lack of quality alien-themed stores in the area. Hangar 209 blew them all out of the water! The whole store was filled with merchandise of the store, Roswell, and aliens. They used “Comfort Colors” for their shirts which are super comfortable and allowed for some awesome designs. I’m a big hat guy and there were plenty of options to choose from. They also had a bunch of books about aliens, conspiracies, and the like. (I’ve added a few new things to my reading list!) They also had complementary coffee which my mom very much appreciated, and a couple fridges with fun bottled drinks such as a brownie caramel cream root beer which I ended up purchasing. I will absolutely not to forget to mention how awesome the owner and his step-daughter are. My family talked to both Dominic and Ellie for a bit and greatly appreciated their insight into theories and things such as. Exceptional! Personal! Professional! Above and beyond customer service is what I have just experienced. I must share some gratitude for Dominic’s attention, suggestions, and promptness. After receiving one of those family emergency calls that a sibling is at the hospital and will be undergoing surgery and being so far away you feel helpless. It was shortly after 4:00pm MST and your typical flower shops were closed. Called Hangar 209 about the possibility of a gift basket to be delivered to the hospital. Without hesitation, Dominic helped me select specialty food items for a customized gift. Then when I asked about what time he would deliver it tomorrow, since I was anticipating my family member being discharged by noon or so, he said he was delivering today. So unexpected, but so appreciated. If this can’t get any better, I received a call that my family member was discharged. I sent Dominic a text to let him know and he offered to deliver it to the home. Not knowing the location of my family member, Dominic connected with my nephew to hand off the basket. Just left from visiting this amazing place! The brother of the owner who was working there was incredibly nice and helpful in a non invasive way which is always our preference lol. You can very much see all of the talent and hard work put into this store as floor to ceiling has great decor and a very clean but stylish look to it. They even have a nice little free coffee bar with great tasting coffee to enjoy as you look around. It has way higher quality souvenirs than many of the other stores on the same street and that have style vs just feeling gimmicky. We can’t wait to wear all of the stuff we got! From the magnets to the shirts and cups, everything feels like it’s worth the price tag vs going cheap and eventually throwing the stuff out when it inevitably gets worn. If what I already said wasn’t enough, the care and attention paid to even bagging your items is detailed. Our postcards were put into their own bag and they place a nice branding sticker on the outside of your bag.
