I used to like Movie Tavern, but the new ownership is questionable, at best.
While you can still get food and drink with the movie, the setup is different. It's actually more streamlined and simple, fewer employees having to walk through the theater. Unfortunately, they also cut most of the menu and food quality.
I could ignore all that and still be happy, because hey, I'm coming for the movie - not the food, right?
The number of times I'm at the Movie Tavern and someone is actively on their phone, loud kids talking, or people generally being disruptive; it's ridiculous. It feels like the Movie Tavern doesn't care if your movie experience is good at all. We ate somewhere else and were Still full when we got there this last time. Her choice. My boyfriend and I ate in the dining area before the Movie. Another time, I ordered a few...
