As a Catholic our Holy Father has stated "All are welcome.". I have found that during my foot patrolls the late and early hours of the day is open for those who prefer to use Shrine's 24 hr. chapel. I have even been abused by Royal Oak Police personell. I'm a Catholic, Birmingham Brother Rice and University of Michigan alumni who has had his civil Rights violated by a police officer of Royal Oak, Michigan. The person overseeing the chapel during those times of the day has been guilty of filing false police reports. One does understand people come to the National Shrine from all over the world. All people are different. The person assigned to the chapel does not fully understand why people come and pray. The person usually is so bored that they even read their own mail, pay their bills such as looking at their DTE statement and going over weekly grocery flyers while listening for the bell to allow someone to enter. If you want to observe prejudicial action against the disabled focus on members of The Royal Oak...

I reached out to St Vincent DePaul at the Little Shrine in Royal Oak, MI on 12 mile for utility assistance. Before I could receive assistance someone had to come to my residence I’m not sure why. It has been close to 2 eeeks and I haven’t got any feedback or assistance besides that the church is trying to get approval and they are still waiting on an answer. The hold from DTE has been lifted. I advised if they are unable to assist to please let me know so I can contact the utility company. After calling so many times and haven’t got a resolution I decided to give a review just in case someone is in need of assistance from St Vincent DePaul at the Little Shrine, please don’t waste your time because you may be...

I have always loved this Shrine, i and my family would go periodically when i used to live in Michigan... i live in Arizona now and if i go to Michigan! This would be the first church I visit, I love every think about it...service, priests and members, so spiritual during and after the mass esp., going to that special room of St. Theresa relic, my patron Saint and which named my daughter after her... i would go around the church to pray and kneel in front of all the Sts. ! I cant wait to visit! God bless and protect this church and those who serve it, and of course may our Lord bless all the churches around the globe, in Jesus name...

This Roman Catholic church in a 1930's Art Deco style is a gem. I took my children here on the Feast of the Annuciation as a small pilgrimage. My nine year olds were opened mouthed and in awe! Incredibly beautiful church with a lot of ways to increase your faith. Numerous side alters to pray at. It has two organs, and a round worship space with a center altar. It is a real piece of art! Some of the artwork is poorly light, so bring a flashlight to be able to fully enjoy their beauty.

I recently attended my first Mass at this beautiful Church. I absolutely loved the architecture and the interior. There were many places to light candles and have a moment, plus the main area where Mass was held had ample seating. The pastor here is Indian, as is myself, which is a huge plus for me. I had been looking for a new Catholic Church to attend since moving to the area. I think I found the one!
