I personally do not like to leave negative reviews. However, this occasion calls for a honest and thorough review. I decided to go to new salon . Had a pedicure that was in my opinion mediocre . My nail tech gave me my stub and I handed her my card. She looked upset by my form of payment .She leaves and comes back and says "You have no money , not working" . I replied back to her , no there are funds , can you retry the transaction. She then tries to help me out of my chair . I kindly advise her not to touch me , and I will follow her to the front to redo my transaction. Before we could retry the transaction I had to repeat myself twice meanwhile she was telling me there was a bank. The receipt clearly said "Chip Error"
Sidenote: On my way to the register she takes my card out my hand without my permission. After I clearly told her not to touch me. I watch her run my transaction again. The machine ask for my PIN. I ask her is she needs my pin because it's clearly says PIN* She says something in her native language and WAH-LA !!!!! My transaction magically goes through. I sign for my transaction and did not receive any condolences for her confusion or my public embarrassment . Then an associate nail tech doing my friends nails is talking to her about my situation saying " you know it's a second language " -_- ...
It is not the customers obligation to ensure that employees can fully read and understand English.
Customer Service should always come first. Travis the owner of the shop was there and did not apologize for inconvenience or the behavior of his nail tech. This nail salon is not professional what so ever, and will never receive funds from me or my friends ever again!
This vast and long review could have been avoided with a simple "I'm sorry" .
Being a strong advocate of customer service myself in my line of work, I do not find this acceptable . Travis as you read this review I hope you learn better business practices. Have a...
Read moreI came in for a removal and the girl working on me asked if I wanted a manicure. I inquired about it because I was interested but when I refused she became upset. She began removing my nails by sticking a tip under the acrylic. I asked her if I could soak the acrylics off because I have sensitive nails. She continued to put the tip under my nail to remove them as I was talking to her about it. I was verbally and physically showing her I was in pain. She took off a total of four nails and I had to physically take my hand back so she wouldn’t continue. I then asked again if there was any way I could receive a soak off and she said no. I proceeded to tell her that I always receive soak offs for acrylic removal, that people usually drill the top off and then soak them and then drip to remove. I never once said she was bad at her job or was telling her what to do, I was requesting a soak off because my nails were hurting. She proceeded to tell me to endure the pain because I only had 4 nails left (i came with three already off). I said not because it was breaking my mail and hurting me. She got rude and defensive saying I was trying to tell her how to do her job and told me to go whatever salon had done soak offs. I told her I was comfortable paying for a service where she only took off 4 nails and they were while I was refusing and requesting a soak off. She threatened to call the cops and was yelling at me so then I began to say it was BS and paid her and left. Ridiculous service. I have gotten better soak offs there with other techs and the other techs are sweet. It was just this girl, I am only sorry I didn’t...
Read moreThey do not deserve a star. The only reason why I went there was because the original nail place that I go to was closed on that Monday and I had a flight that day, so I went to get my nails done there since it was on my route. I truly hate going to different nail salons, I must say they do not have any professionalism what so ever. They do not receive instructions well, and when you tell them to fix it they catch an attitude and speak Vietnamese. It's obvious they never have anything good to say about their customers since they can't say it in English. The lady that did my nails had a problem when I told her I did not want my nails to be oval, I came in with coffin nails. And left with rectangle nails. She had no idea what coffin nails where. She was upset when I told her I do not like my nails and it's needs to be reshaped and that she adds too much nail polish making my nails look like a ballon. She somewhat fixed it, and I told her she can just add the top coat so I can go cause she didn't know what she was doing, so I had to guide her. She took FOREVER to do my nails and they are expensive for no reason. NEVER AGAIN WILL I STEP FOOT IN THERE! They are too rude and disrespectful, if you don't like doing nails than simply don't. If we could do it on our own, we would instead of going to...
