Sutter- just don’t go to any of their facilities. Corporate supports a policy of doctors engaging in a pattern and practice of not returning pages and having phone operators give medical advice. On-call doctors get paid to do nothing? This isn’t going to turn out well. Memorial hospital recently got a slap on the wrist from the joint commission for nurses taking a patient’s pain medication, discharged him/ her while in distress after surgery, not calling a doctor to help the patient. Surgeon who performed the surgery ( Modesto) did nothing to help patient. Sutter is a mess and you are putting your life in jeopardy going to any of thrur facilities. Once you are dead, you are dead. Their ERs are just as bad. You should not have to go back 3-5 times for a problem to be resolved. Scam or incompetent physicians?

This is not a safe place for you to receive care. The leadership does not intervene when these matters are brought yo their attention and what can you do when your loved ones are harmed or dead? You should call you member of the assembly , ask that that this is brought up on the public safety, licensing committee ( for doctors, medical facilities, and health and human services) Complaints can go to medical board, joint commission, snd department of public health. File joint commission first, copy that and put in your dph complaint, then put in word document and file with ca medical board. Also fax complaint to corporate office immediately. In transition between pcp. Need prescription refill and I’m getting zero response.

Put refill request in a week ago, pharmacy followed up, I called three times, supposedly an urgent message was sent to the care team, nurses keep rejecting the request saying it is duplicate, but no one has followed through to see the original prescription that was approved by the doctor NEVER left your system and is sitting in a pending status. Yes you will now see duplicate request because I’m desperate. I’m waiting for someone to actually do their job and see what the problem is!

Between therapists who will drop you for missing an appointment for being sick (after that same therapist canceled on me three weeks in a row for being sick), to doctors who litterally make fun of you, psychiatrists who are dismissive of my issues, and staff who lie and routinely give wrong information, this company should NOT be in charge of ANYONE's health. They make it so incredibly hard to get help that I've just about given up.
