The Container Store — Attraction in Sacramento

Paul J is AMAZING! We purchased a closet yesterday in Texas and we didn’t realize until after we had demolished our existing closet that the designer had input the incorrect ceiling height. Of course this was 30 minutes after the store closed, corporate offices were closed and the online design program doesn’t let us adjust anything.

We had set aside last night to complete the closet and really didn’t want to have to wait another day, so our last ditch effort was to call a store that was still open in California to see if they could let us know if we could still use our components (just remove some shelving) or if we would really have to exchange tracks, etc.

Eye candy galore if you love ways to store & organize. As soon as you enter someone will greet you with a friendly "Hello, welcome in" and they mean it. The staff was very friendly all throughout the store. We were given great ideas on a few things & they were inexpensive ways to use something we were considering. When I was checking out, the gentleman saw that I had a cane and immediately said not to worry and that he would take all the things out of my cart for me. Once everything was done & paid for, he then put them in my cart & moved it so that it was easy for me to grab hold of it. It's those little things that I really appreciate. Able bodied people take these things for granted and will often not help at all so I was blown away that he did this without asking...

I’d like to give this corporation zero stars due to their lack of ADA compliance and their ignorance on the CA Governor’s social distancing guidelines. While entering with a face shield, a disabled family member was turned away and told they were not welcome to shop at the Container Store. The employee was belligerent in their communication style and totally lacked professionalism. It is clear that disabled Americans are not welcome and will be humiliated, if they attempt to patronize this business.

Personally, I would never give this company another dollar and ideally I’d like to return anything purchased in the past. I would also encourage all others to economically contribute to a business without a clear lack of respect for the...
