Thought I'd try some place different today. I live about 15 minutes away, and was on my way home from visiting with some family I hadn't seen in a while. The place wasn't too busy from foot traffic or customers in store, from what I could see. Didn't realize there was a separate door for take out, so I went in the main entrance where I was he third party in line. The greeter asked if I was dining in or taking out, told her it was a take out order and she directed me to the take out counter. Walked over to the take out counter, where there was no one to take my order. Initial thought was, what's this over? Self-Service?). Was met moments later by the person that greeted me at the door, after she took care of the couple of customer that came in the main entrance behind me. Ordered the family bundle, (which I thought I'd just seen a commercial for, for $29.99, or something like that and thought, hmmm, there's something different... I've never eaten from there before), and a cobb salad. Order (surprisingly), came to $51 and some change, which I paid. The young lady asked for my name, and told me it'd be a 25 minute wait. (Another surprise as I wasn't really expecting or planning to be sitting around that long. But, since I already paid, said ah, it is what it is. She provided no further input, so initially, I sat at a table inside, where it was a decent sports pub like atmosphere. After a few minutes though, elected to go sit in my car since I didn't want to sit inside, with a mask on, for 25 minutes. Came back in at my 25 minute mark. Greeted by a different, and much more vibrant pleasant young lady. Gave her my name, she gathered and handed me my order, (not sure how long it had been sitting there) and took my 15 minute drive home. Upon arrival and unpacking the order, EVERYTHING WAS COLD, HARD AND ESPECIALLY,,, DRY!!! DEFINITELY NOT WHAT I WAS EXPECTING, AFTER WAITING FOR 25 MINUTES AND PAYING $51!!!!! I'm typically not a reviewer or complainer. And I suppose I could've called the store and they could've offered "something", I don't know. But, that was $51 down the drain on food that didn't get, (or rather, couldn't be), eaten, except for the salad, I guess, which was smaller than I expected for a $20 bump in price, even considering taxes. The "mild" buffalo sauce, was "hot", to me. So, I guess, unless you're going to eat in, or live within a shorter drive than me, this is probably NOT the place you want to order take-out from. Do be aware/reminded that there is a take-out door, so you don't stand in line at the main entrance, just to have to go stand in line again. THANKFULLY, there was no line at the vacant take-out counter - or then, maybe not. Because had there been one, I probably would've left, and brought my family an edible meal, (from somewhere else), where it would've been $51 and change, and 25 minutes, better spent! I rate the place 2 stars rather than 1, because it's possible my order was ready prior to my 25 minutes, and I wasn't sitting there when it came out. And because I did have to drive another 15 minutes, I guess I contributed to the food being cold, (which I could've then attempted to reheat once I got it home). However, considering the boxes they were in, the meal definitely shouldn't have been so hard, and DEFINITELY...
Read moreHave been a loyal fan of BWW ever since they came to Sacramento. We always dine at the one in Natomas but last week we were at Arden Fair Mall and decided to try their restaurant just east of the mall on Arden Way. This place was a total disaster in the preparation of their wings. We like our wings with a slightly crispy skin, when we placed our order we informed the waitress we wanted them crispy with extra dry rub seasoning, she came back a few minutes later to confirm. After waiting almost 20 minutes for our order of wings she brought them to the table and they were a soggy mess, I took one bite of a wing and they were so soggy you could taste the grease from the deep fryer. I called the waitress over to our table and told her that we cannot eat them, and I told her that we specifically requested them crispy. She took them back to the kitchen to replace and after another 10 to 15 minutes of waiting she brought out another order and apologized for not getting the order right the first time. When she left we had noticed that this was rhe same order that we returned the first time, I know this because the wing I took the bite from was on top. Called the waitress back over to our table and told her this was the same exact order she had brought out the first time, she disagreed saying it was a new order, then I showed her that the reason I know this is the original order is because of the piece I took a bite out out. She was very apologetic and said she would re-order again. As this is going on we notice that she is discussing this problem with the shift manager and he keeps looking at us but never comes over to our table to find out the problem or even apologize for the problem. After another 10 to 15 minute wait time our third order arrives they were exactly the same soggy greasy mess as the first order. At this point we had lost our appetite and told the waitress to bring us our bill for the soft drinks and onion rings. She left our table and I watched her walk over to the manager and they spoke for a few minutes and again the manager kept looking at us and again he did not have the common curtsey to come over and talk with us. A few minutes later our waitress came back to our table to inform us that the manager agreed to remove the wings from our bill. We got our bill for the soft drinks and onion rings, paid the bill and left. I could not believe that the manager had to approve removing the wings from our order, I wouldn't have paid for them even if he did disapprove removing them from our order. This BWW store on Arden Way SUCKS, ESPECIALLY THE MANAGER. It's restaurants like this that give the whole chain a bad name. I will starve before going back to this location or until they get a manager that cares about his customer and a cook that knows the meaning of the...
Read more**Update * I ended up calling a 3rd time and spoke with a 3rd manager, let her know that refund was never placed and just like the previous 2 managers, said that she would take a look at the order and would call me back, that was 3 weeks ago, refunds generally don't take 3 weeks to reflected in your bank account. At this point, Buffalo Wild Wings, clearly needs the money without having to provide the food that was paid for. I would say just go inside and eat there, but at this point they have left such a foul taste in my mouth that I don't care to provide them any more business.
I placed an online order Thursday 01/04/24 and when we arrived to pick up the order like we were instructed to, we were met with manager #1 saying that our order was never received. We even showed him the confirmation number. And still didn't receive it. I ended up driving home hungry and very frustrated. I was told before I drove home, to check my bank statement to make sure that it was drafted, I came home and checked and it was drafted. I called the restaurant back and spoke with manager #1(not adding names to protect their identity and I dealt with more than 1), who proceeded to tell me that he will refund the order and make it all up for us if I was ok with driving back over tonight. I said that we had picked up dinner elsewhere. And he then asked what day would best work for me, to which I replied Saturday, January 6th, he said wonderful I will leave a detailed note for the manager that will be working that shift to take care of that for you.
Well come Saturday I called at about 5pm and spoke with manager #2, to my surprise, was told that he never received said note and was unaware of what happened. I was then informed that he was in the middle of their dinner rush and that he would investigate it and call me back within 1-2 business days. Those days came and went with no call. I ended up calling back Monday 01/08/24, no answer, called a second time and no answer. I called again the following day and spoke with manager #2, who said that he had already placed the refund to go through based on my order that he found in their system and that I should expect the refund within 5-7 business days. He said I am pretty sure that I spoke to you Saturday and sorted this out. No sir, you absolutely didn't. How was manager #2 able to find my order, but manager #1 made it seem like it was a needle in a hay stack?
