Nice little hidden spot pretty close from downtown but far enough away where you can get some peace and quiet! My kids really loved it here, there’s a small playground that’s really interesting, made of logs and see saw shaped like a dragon fly, there’s a butterfly garden and my son loved chasing them around, there’s so many gorgeous flowers, statues with history that come with it. So much to look at, at such a small park. There’s seining benches you can sit and rest at, there’s a little free library where you can take and leave books and it’s painted with a bird on it, I left some journals as I always do because who doesn’t love journals! Apparently there is a “curfew” that they don’t inform anyone of to let them know not go there after dark. They will take your address, name, phone number, date of birth, and even ask for your social security number, even if you are a minor with no legal guardian present. There are paved walk ways with several sitting areas and bench swings. No bathrooms but there is a drinking fountain. The Garden Club did a lovely job planting and landscaping.
