Pretty good; needs maintenance.
One hole is unplayable with a sign saying to only play the lower portion of the hole. It's one of those holes where you hit the ball into a hole on the upper portion, then it drops through a tube down to the lower portion. The lower portion was too small for us to reasonably even play a hole, so we just skipped it.
There were many visible pipes and electrical boxes throughout the course. Personally, I don't mind all that much as it doesn't affect the gameplay at all, but it does break the emersion if that's your sort of thing. The worst offence of this was one of the waterfalls that had a big pipe running across the front of it gushing out all of the water for the waterfall.
There's a bit of lack of variety of hole types. There are multiple where the main feature of a hole is a big slope on the side of the green, or going under an arch/overhang of some sort. It's not that big of a deal, there is at least enough visual difference to distinguish each one. There are still plenty of very fun holes, such as the one where it winds all the way down the central mountain, allowing you to watch it tumble and bounce it's way down.
On a few holes, the ball had stopped underneath certain features at the end of a slope. For example, on the mountain hole, there is a walkway that the ball rolls under at the bottom. The last bit isn't quite sloped enough to maintain momentum and it stopped under the walkway, making it difficult to reach. This happened a few times throughout the course, but were accessible enough to uphold "play it where it lies" (my wife and I are very competitive, so as long as it was reachable, it was fair game).
That being said, we still had plenty of fun as the rest of the course was in very good condition, such as the hole that takes place aboard the course's signature yellow ship.
There is a small practice area before the course to tune up if you haven't played in a while. It has some curves and slopes to practice hitting over said obstacles in the actual course.
The water looked very nice; it's dyed deep blue to emulate the open ocean. While it perhaps looks a bit too blue in the ponds where it is sitting, it looks beautiful coming down the several waterfalls that the course...
Read moreYesterday, on a perfect Tuesday afternoon, my family and I decided to visit Fiesta Falls Miniature Golf. We had an amazing time and I can't wait to share our experience!
The first thing we noticed upon arrival was how clean and well-maintained the entire place looked. It’s clear that the staff takes great pride in keeping the course in top condition, which really enhances the overall experience.
Fiesta Falls features an 18-hole miniature golf course that is open to all ages and boasts award-winning landscaping. The course includes 8 waterfalls, caves, a 65-foot Spanish ship, and even a mountaintop gazebo with a view of the ocean. The creative design and beautiful scenery made each hole unique and engaging.
The courses were incredibly fun, and both the adults and kids in our group enjoyed playing throughout. Each hole presented its own set of challenges and surprises, keeping us entertained and engaged the entire time. A few of us adults had hole in one throughout the course. For those looking for an extra challenge, playing under the stars on the lighted course is highly recommended.
The weather was absolutely perfect, adding to the enjoyment of our visit. A gentle breeze and sunny skies made it an ideal day for outdoor activities.
In terms of pricing, the cost to play is quite reasonable: $14.50 for adults, $13.50 for seniors (62+), and $11.95 for youth (3-12). Given the quality of the course and the fun we had, it was well worth it.
Overall, our visit to Fiesta Falls Miniature Golf was a fantastic experience. The combination of a clean and beautiful course, fun challenges for all ages, and perfect weather made for a memorable afternoon. We’ll definitely be...
Read moreOur family of 5 have visited Fiesta Falls Mini Golf every year on our trips to St.Augustine for over a decade. However, the poor customer service this time really tarnished our experience. The course itself is beautiful, with lovely landscaping and a well-maintained layout, but the staff's attitude this year was extremely disappointing.
When we arrived, we realized we had forgotten a widely available coupon. We asked if any of the coupon books on their rack had one for mini golf, but the staff member working the front desk exchanged looks with a coworker and coldly said no. No kindness or an effort to make us feel welcome, just a sharp dismissal.
Later, when we looked at decorative golf balls (a family tradition for those who got a hole-in-one), she was too busy chatting with her friends who arrived for ice cream (it was near closing time) to acknowledge us. When she finally noticed us, she dismissively said, “Thank you,” as if prompting us to leave. When we hesitated, she awkwardly asked her friends to step aside, making us feel so uncomfortable that we skipped the purchase altogether.
As someone with years of customer service experience, I was shocked by the rudeness. It was made clear that we weren’t valued by the staff. The course itself is fantastic, but after this visit, we are questioning if it is worth the...
