I visited the St Augustine Beach Pier last weekend while in the Jacksonville area. The beach is very clean and well maintained. It's always very relaxing and it's never overcrowded. This is great beach for families with small kids.. I had a awesome day to walking and burning some calories!

This is definitely one of my favorite spots when I visit this areas of FL. Parking is free, but you must come early to secure a descent spot. Bathrooms and feet washing stations are readily available. You must pay a small fee if you wanna enter the pier...

Awesome looking beach. Sand feels great on the feet. Water is warm. Views are nice. Waves are good. Shells if you seek. A small paradise. St. Augustine was the first Eastern Coast beach I ever visited and I fell in love then, over 20 years ago. It’s still beautiful. Free parking is available. Small shop and info center at the pier. $2 to walk out. $4-6 to fish. Military and handicap is $2. Annual passes for the pier are available as well. The beach surrounding is nice and flat with beautiful sea oats and dunes. Wide...

The sunrise and beach were absolutely stunning! My friend and I decided to enjoy the early morning by metal detecting, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience. I found some beautiful shells, and as a bonus, we even spotted a whale! I believe it was either a Short-finned Pilot Whale or a Melon-headed Whale — although I'm not 100% sure, the shape of the fin leads me to lean towards one of those, especially since it didn’t resemble any dolphins we’ve seen before. We’re already looking forward to...

Wow such a beautiful beach. We had a pleasant experience overall. We saw a couple of sandpipers and seagulls. The beach itself has white sand due to the source being sea shells. So come with good shoes and prepare for lots of crunching. The water did not seem to deep . The place was not crowded when we went but we did go in 50 degree weather. Overall 5/5 recommend to check it out if your saint augustine. -for parking you’ll need to find a sign that allows public parking from a certain time period.
