Despite the stormy weather during my visit, the beach I went to was still a pleasant destination. The convenience of beach access directly from the parking area was a major plus. Additionally, there was a charming pier offering a unique vantage point of the ocean. Although I didn't get to enjoy it due to the weather, the pier access was enticing for future visits. The beach amenities, such as restrooms and a splash pad, catered to families with children, ensuring their comfort and enjoyment. St. Augustine Beach is absolutely beautiful. The whole town feels clean, safe, and really well thought out. It’s not a party spot, which makes it very family-friendly and relaxing. The beaches are well groomed and maintained, and it’s clear they take pride in keeping the area nice for visitors.

The pier is nearby, and while it costs $2 just to walk out on it, they do offer a veteran discount to fish for only $2, which was a cool perk.
