Ordered 12 cookies and some dog cookies on may 4th from this location and shortly after placing the order the lady calls and says she doesnât know why on the website they list the cookies for dogs and says this location doesnât sell them she offered to refund me or give me a few more cookies. Once there were delivered I tipped the driver once she was gone I notice there wasnât a difference in the amount of cookies I was given⌠no big deal honestly I just didnât understand the lie. Attempted again today at ordering from this location. I submitted my order and it said it would be ready at 5:04pm and my boyfriend gets there to pick them up at 5:15 and the lady said the order just went in! My boyfriend got all the way home and found that the order he was given was not even ours. I called the store and talked to Michelle she wanted us to drive the cookies back up there and offered to remake them. I think asked what we would be compensated for our time she says oh I can give a $5 on your account. I will take it and use it at the Clayton location I wonât be going here anymore! I am so confused at whoâs running this location I have never had bad experiences with Hotbox until now. I waited for a while and was excited for this location to open because it was close to my house I thought I hit the jackpot but that is not the case. When I did not receive an email from the company I thought I should call to make sure my order was received. I only received an email from PayPal. The charge went on my credit card, but no confirmation email ever showed up in my email inbox. I had to call several locations before they could locate my online order, which they said went to their national order line. Whatever that is. Since I wanted my order the same day they recommended that order be canceled, and placed again with the location that would be in my delivery area, the one in St. Charles on Beale Street. I did that. Then, I got a call from someone at the Beale Street store saying I am out of their delivery area, therefore, it would cost me an extra $7 to get my order delivered. WTH? I told the girl to just cancel. The whole situation was ridiculous AND A WASTE OF TIME. I would not recommend ordering online with this company because their ordering system is terrible. Such a complete waste of time. NOW, I am having to wait on two refunds. Although I told her to cancel my order, guess who has to call back again because the order was not delivered nor cancelled. They are open until 10 todayâŚ. I was given 4 options on what was left and I chose two (1 red velvet, one seasonal). I was also offered the option to wait while she baked whatever I wanted. I waited for my other 4. She asked if I wanted the ones already made right away or if I wanted to wait until all the cookies were done. I told her I wanted them all at once. While waiting, she mustâve sold the red velvet I already purchased and there one in the oven while the others were already halfway through.
