5.11 — Local services in Saint Charles

I’m not hoping to be tacticool, but I do like the fit and quality of 5.11 apparel. The weather today was extremely nice and all I needed for a great motorcycle ride was an excuse as a destination. I decided the new 5.11 store was worthy as an excuse.

The 5.11 store had a great layout and didn’t feel too crammed or too sparse. I was honestly interested in quite a few shirts hanging from the racks. I perused the men’s section, moved onto the backpacks and gun cases and then over to the boots and shoes, and finally checked out the women’s section Incase my wife had sone interestd.

I didn’t buy anything in the end, but I was disappointed in the customer service. I was the only customer in the store and out of three employees, not one acknowledged my existence. Not a boo or a may I help you. I really thought this was strange. In the end, I own a couple of 5.11 pants and at least a half dozen 5.11 polos. I might buy some more, but the service...

Wow... this is a great place. They have a huge selection of 5.11 merchandise but the entire size range in virtually every product. There is such a variety of things it is almost overwhelming. I was like a kid in the toy store with Christmas approaching. I was greeted as I walked through the door. The staff was absolutely amazing. Friendly, professional, and they New their products. They took a genuine interest in assuring the product met your particular needs. The young man that helped me, the two ladies also, and the store manager as well. Very polite and friendly. I can’t say enough about how awesome this place is… I originally thought it wasn’t my style of anything… but they have all sort of awesome stuff.. the Pants are just Built Different if you have an active job or lifestyle.. they are beyond comfortable and extremely durable. today I didn’t plan on purchasing anything was just gonna go look… but Gideon and Shawn were so awesome and beyond nice I had to buy something….
