Perfectly helpful and found what I needed just in time! A bit of background; my fiancé's birthday was coming up and I was super late getting out to look for his gifts. Last Tuesday, I'd been all over town in search of some helpful DM stuff to supplement my significant other's D&D games and make the experience more enjoyable, as it's one of his favorite pastimes. A gentleman at Game Stop informed me that, on the preceding Friday, EntertainMart had opened its doors but that they'd only had about half of their stock out. I thanked him and was hopeful that they'd have some useful merchandise out. I arrive and upon entering I don't see much in the front half of the store, but I DID see some nice looking 7-die sets to consider as an additional purchase. After walking around for a few seconds, I find the jackpot of DM screens and D&D books. Now, as my fiancé is experienced in nearly every edition, save for 5E, I had a pretty good idea of what I'd need. I found a beautiful DM screen with quick-reference to all the 5e rules for ONLY $14.95. It was perfect! I'd made my way to the front, and as my dearest didn't have any good-quality die, I asked the (very helpful and knowledgeable) associate behind the counter if it'd be possible to purchase the beautiful 7-die set of emerald/dark green swirled dice with gold-painted numbers. The associate got them out for me and we proceeded to the checkout. It was a perfect gift, and as it was under $30, I was able to head to a grocery store and acquire a bottle of his favorite port wine and a couple of other goodies. TL;DR: This place will most likely have anything you'd ever need, at a fair price, as far as movies, fantasy entertainment, games,...
Read moreThis place has quite the selection of books movie and memorabilia. However, not near as much as hastings (which used to be in the same building) they are quite highly priced on many things, and the staff is not usually that great. They're very slow, not usually very considerate of the customer or their wait time (I understand that they have stuff to do too, as I used to work in customer service, some things can't be helped, but this is rediculous) my husband and I went in to sell some games to them one day and while one girl was running around trying to run the register and help people the best she could, the manager was to handle inventory or something of the sort (both of these are understandable) my husband and I stood there for 20 minutes while a third employee was sitting on a container literally almost right beside us just looking at posters, off in his own little world, telling us that the register chic is busy but will be with us shortly. The manager came out and talked to us (dealt with him more than once, he's always very nice and reasonable) had to jump that employee and make him stand up to help us instead of piddling and leaving his co-worker drowning with a long line in front of her, people asking her questions, and us sitting at the counter opposite side of the...
Read moreI have been coming into this store since I moved here in July to look for disc golf discs. They have had the same discs since I first started coming here, the lowest grade plastic of almost entirely one brand. I have constantly asked if they were ever going to get new ones in and I'm always met with "I don't know, corporate just sends them whenever." Well, if corporate is waiting for these to sell before they move new products in, it will be forever because nobody wants these. Everyone here in the disc golf community sees this place as a joke but it's one of the only 3 places in town where we can buy discs. I have always seen a better variety at Entertainmarts around the country in the past, and unless I ever hear differently I guess I'm done with this place. Failure to accomodate a customer with the potential for a large customer base is not a good business practice in my opinion. I have tried to contact corporate multiple times and have never even gotten a successful send, so I hope they see...
