I took my granddaughters to get there pictures done for the fairy shoot. I have 4 and the ages rangeing from 6 to 4 months. My appointment was the last one of the evening. We were supposed too have a wardrobe change and have fairy wings etc. My girls didn't get the wardrobe change, I had to ask for the fairy props which didn't happen until the middle of their shoot. Needless to say they didn't get wings in half of their pics. When I asked for them, all of the props were being put away! My girls were very disappointed that they didn't get to change their dresses. I shouldn't have too ask for the props seems that's what they were there for. If it was going to be such an issue having 4 girls at the last appt. And then expect the shoot to be over in 30 minutes that is not realistic. We felt as though we were being pushed out and our poor photographer felt rushed. She was amazing by the way, thank you for your patience Abbi with my girls. A 2 yr old isn't always easy to take pics with. Now having several employees waiting for us to leave and rushing us to pick our photos is ridiculous. Abbi shouldn't have too apologize to her manager for taking so long when you have 4 kids to do a photo shoot for. The pics that we were able to get turned out great, but the way things were handled and the other gentleman that was literally putting all the props away in the middle of our shoot was uncalled for. The girls didn't even get to use the dresses that we provided for the wardrobe change. If in the future you're going to shut the store down early do not book 4 girls for a shoot at 6:15 and then expect to be done by 6:30. We were all very disappointed in how this shoot went and it will be awhile before I go back and spend money...
Read moreI placed an order on December 16th, received confirmation that estimated arrival December 24th. No package, checked again on December 26th and online chat stated delivery date scheduled for December 28th. I asked how to do a refund, told had to wait 1-2 business days after scheduled date. When would that be if the date keeps changing? December 28th and no package, so I called and was told delivery scheduled for December 30th. I asked how can that be when it was ordered th 16th and no back order or out if stock notification. She checked and said it was shipped on December 27th???? Scheduled for delivery Dec 30th. I've been a customer over 30 years. I may shop in the store but will not order again.. Shopping back on Amazon where tracking is way simpler.
Update 12/31/21: Either they are liars or incompetent online. Still did not receive my package on the 30th as promised. Today 31st ,there is now a tracking # that says label was created on Dec 27th and no date for arrival. Call center is a nightmare with trying to understand the person. I still can't cancel because I have to wait for 2 business days after delivery date. Will update as the saga continues. AGAIN, DON'T ORDER ONLINE IF YOU'RE EXPECTING IT BY A CERTAIN DATE. JCP needs to update there...
Read moreI went there for a ship to store pick up. After waiting at a counter that no one was at, I called the store for help. As I was wading through the automated system, an employee came up to ring up a customer that had found her on the sales floor. This was the counter that was specifically for online pick ups. She called for assistance but kept helping the customer that could have ran their transaction at any counter without regard for the fact that I had been at the counter longer than the other customer had been with her. Another cashier showed up a few minutes later and got my order without further delay. Since there is only one location for online pick up I would suggest Penny's keep it staffed and help customers in the order they were in while waiting for assistance. Since I was the only customer at the counter I didn't think I would have to wait, let alone not be the first one helped.
