Kellogg Mall Park — Attraction in Saint Paul

Recent visit to St. Paul for a concert @ the Xcell center I walked down to the park on a Sunday morning from the Doubletree hotel, I did notice on google maps that the park is not open on Saturday & Sunday. Beautiful little park and a great view of the Mississippi River got some very good video of barges moving up and down the river, but there were a few very unsavory people there not sure if they were homeless or not but the did harass me while trying to film the beautiful scenery, so I moved along quickly and headed to the Crowne plaza lobby. The St. Paul police need to patrol this area much more often! It's a shame a few individuals have to ruin a beautiful little area! Otherwise it would be a 4.5 to...

Very scenic location overlooking the riverfront. There's trash sometimes (that always gets picked up eventually anyway) and it even looks good in the winter at times when things are dreary. In order to get good sunrise pictures, postion yourself so you are facing Robert Street Bridge. For sunset, face towards the Wabasha bridge.

Do you like boats? This is a great place to casually observe aquatic vehicles of all sizes rolling by, and if you have children who have never seen a barge or ferry, don't miss the chance to stop here. There are also train tracks and trains also frequent...

Great park during the day and amazing site seeing or scenery overlooking the river. However at night time its a great spot to see the night lights and enjoy a cool breeze........ along as you are not mugged or surrounded along with being out numbered by desperate individuals including the homeless robbing the homeless.
