Recent visit to St. Paul for a concert @ the Xcell center I walked down to the park on a Sunday morning from the Doubletree hotel, I did notice on google maps that the park is not open on Saturday & Sunday. Beautiful little park and a great view of the Mississippi River got some very good video of barges moving up and down the river, but there were a few very unsavory people there not sure if they were homeless or not but the did harass me while trying to film the beautiful scenery, so I moved along quickly and headed to the Crowne plaza lobby. In order to get good sunrise pictures, postion yourself so you are facing Robert Street Bridge. For sunset, face towards the Wabasha bridge.
