Catrinas Skyway — Restaurant in Saint Paul

I ordered a burrito and the fish tacos on my lunch break today. It ended up being more food than I bargained for with the tacos being bigger than expected! The portions were definitely reasonable. Anyways, I really enjoyed the burrito. I went with the barbacao for meat and then rice, pico, corn, cheese, and guacamole. The meat was a tad dry but it was also super flavorful. You could also taste what was inside the burrito which I liked since sometimes burritos are just a jumbled up mess that lack cohesiveness.

The fish tacos were good, but I should've went with the flour tortillas instead of corn because the corn tortillas just don't do it for me and can be a little soggy. If they toasted the corn tortillas on a grill top instead of steaming, then I probably would've enjoyed it more. There was a good amount of fish in the tacos and they were...

This is some of the best food I've had in a while! The setup is similar to that of other fast Mexican food places but Catrina's is far superior! The big chain restaurants do not even coming close to the quality of food at Catrina's! The staff are super nice too which is a huge bonus!

I came here on a whim because I just needed something quick to eat but I'm so happy I stopped here! Plus lots of Mexican decor that really sets the charm for this place.

The best thing about Fridays is that the menu at Catrina's Skyway features Fish Tacos. I know I'm asking for a fight on here but Catrina's are the BEST fish tacos for miles around. If you work or live downtown you owe it to yourself to walk over to this modest lunch-counter place, really any weekday. On days other than Friday you might even have room for one of their cookies, an excellent choice.
