This review is solely for the attention of the owner, but itâs important for any potential customers to know about my experience as well. I am a loyal customer who has spent over $10,000 at Swade, tipping generously on every visit. Unfortunately, my experience today made me feel like that loyalty meant nothing.
Today, I checked the online menu while sitting in the parking lot, only to find out that once inside, the products I wanted were suddenly âunavailable.â When I politely inquired about this change, hoping for some kind of solution, I was met with hostility. Instead of working with me to find a replacement, the staff member became combative, arguing about the menu rather than offering alternatives. It was clear he didnât want to be there, and he certainly didnât want to help.
To make things worse, another employee, whom I tip every visit, overheard the conversation and joined in by yelling at me too. Neither of them made any effort to fill my alternative order; they were too busy arguing about why the original product wasnât available. After that, I was essentially kicked out of the store, all while they continued to argue and make excuses.
This wasnât just disappointingâit was disrespectful. After all the money Iâve spent and loyalty Iâve shown, I expected better. I withdrew $200 from the ATM to complete my new order, but instead, I left empty-handed and disrespected. To add insult to injury, one of the employees even followed me outside, continuing to make unnecessary comments.
If this is how Swade treats long-time customers, I can only imagine how first-time visitors are treated. I urge you to review the camera footage from today. I was the first customer on 11/2, and everything Iâve described will be there. I am deeply disappointed in how your employees acted, showing no regard for customer service and behaving more like gatekeepers than budtenders.

I went in excited wanting to look at new unseen product on the wall I was quickly informed that isnât what they have in stock okay no issue but I was also made to feel like I was inconveniencing them by looking at the displays I was talked to in a demeaning tone told I need to come to the front and get a menu and to me it was the tone an adult would use when scolding a child and I wasnât alone and wasnât the only one made to feel this way so after this it already ruined the experience so I just made it quick and said we know what we want âoh do you?â again in a sarcastic tone I guess since in her mind we were there too long we wouldnât be ready so I asked her for what I wanted and she retrieved it upon returning I asked her if they had a different vape in stock she said one second let me check before her co worker asked her to check a label when she couldnât find what she was looking for she proceeded to joke and talk with her co worker while ignoring us and saying I apologize in the middle of continuing to do it she then didnât even check for the vape I had asked about and told me my total of the items she already retrieved. This was maybe my 5th-6th time shopping at Swade Dispensaries primarily in the St.Louis city locations and theyâre great but so yesterday for 4/20 I put in an order for a 1 OZ of flower around 8am and it never got completed so called the location in (St.Peters Swade Dispersary) and the employee said they were low staffed so they werenât taking online orders but when I get there around 1 in the afternoon they are fully staffed which contradicted what was discussed over the phone earlier. I Get there and I guess Max (Employee) was transparent about things but as a retail manger myself the experience with Max was standoffish to say the least due to I had my medical card , driver license , cash, Max was making the experience frustrating explaining to me that I would have to pay for recreational instead of medical when I clearly have a profile and all my information in regards to purchasing items in dispensaries I didnât feel the employee went above and beyond he made the experience VERY difficult I had to look up old emails and re-login old medical registration information all for him to scan a clearly image I suppose in order to receive my 10% medical off the purchase thatâs why I pay for my medical card.
