I thought about this and have even gave them a chance to make it right, all I want was a phone call back. We went in on August 29 for dinner. We was seated at our table. The bathroom was a mess and had no toilet paper. That should have been our first clue to leave. But alas we stayed. Our server showed up took our order and never came back. Another server brought our apps, salad and dinner, which was cold. But after dinner was brought nobody ever come back by so we finally just ate it. It had obviously been sitting in the kitchen for a while. A serve walked by, not ours, I said mam several time, the last time loudly. Others around use heard us and she kept walking. So I took our drinks to the bar to get them refilled. When is was time to get our bill our original server showed up. Our bill was 75.00. Like I said. We had other servers bring our other food. Never our original server. When I finally spoke to a manger I was told well it was the end of her shift and others are helping her out. I told him that it wasnāt our fault. That we should have never been seated in that section. Our that the server should have communicated that with us. We would have asked to move. We was their to celebrate my birthday. I communicated this to the manager. Who brushed this off and walked us to the door. I called back and spoke to a manager named Nick who told me he would āget to the bottom of itā and thanked me for not putting them on here and promised to call me back. To this day he has never called me back. I would tell anyone looking for a place to eat to pass this restaurant up. Go find someplace else to eat. Go find someplace else to get hot food and good service. I was so disappointed. This is my favorite restaurant....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst of all, let me just say, I love Italian food! I have patronized a plethora of local eateries and The Pasta House Co. is still, by far, my absolute favorite. It's something about the way they combine their ingredients that just stimulate my palate and keep me wanting more. Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo is number #1 on my list. I prefer it with no mushrooms and extra peas...yum. As a teen, this was one of my 1st jobs. I started getting their garlic bread with Pepperoni and never stopped. I also stand by their famous Italian salad. Although I'm indifferent about the artichoke hearts, it is still delish. Pair these 3 with an ice-cold Sprite and warm rolls and butter, and you have yourself a lunch or dinner date! Did I mention the frozen drinks....the "Italian Stallion" and "Strawberry Mango Margarita" are both very tasty, in my opinion. I also vouch for the lasagna if you are more into red sauce, and I also love the "Pasta Con Broccoli" when I want to change it up. Their "French Dip" with that well seasoned au jus is a good pick if sandwiches are more of your lane. You would obviously have to try it for yourself, but you definitely won't be disappointed.
Let's talk about the new location we ate dinner at last night...Wow! So I started out at the Ucity location years ago and ventured over to Creve Coeur once it was closed, but that St. Peters' location has such an amazing aesthetic. It's like the headquarters...š I mean, it was giving exactly what it was supposed to give for a double date night after the escape room. Add the wonderful service and meal to it, and we all agreed it was a vibe! I'm definitely going back soon. This is our new location. New to us, but maybe not so much to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIncredibly disappointed with our meal and service on Friday, 4/8/22. It was not "packed" but there were several customers. We ordered drinks, my husband had the "drink of the day" and I had a Cosmo. Our waitress said "I don't know how to make the Cosmo, I'll have to have my manager make it." The commentary wasn't necessary, it really doesn't matter who makes the drink, just bring it with a smile. Then the manager brought it and proceeded to say "I haven't made one of these in like 4 years, I hope it's okay." Again, commentary not necessary just bring the drink and say "Enjoy!" And if it doesn't meet the customers expectations, they will say something. We ordered the meatballs as an appetizer. Got our salads and asked for more rolls, which were set on the end of the table, not near either of us and the butter was tossed to both of us. We asked about the meatballs and the waitress said she'd go get them...we waited, got our main course and then the meatballs showed up. Our waitress says "they just came up when she (the runner) brought your food." There were other tables sat after us that also ordered appetizers that received them quickly. However, the most disappointing part (other than the meal itself) was when we were finished with the meal, our waitress never asked it we wanted deserts, or anything else; she SLAPPED the bill on the end of the table and walked away. She never even told us that pay at the table, nothing. I get they are "overworked " but we are still paying customers and deserve to be treated respectfully. The service as well as the food was...
