I got there today at about 6:45pm. My mom was driving the car and she ordered herself a meal. When we got to the window I forgot to ask if they had milkshakes. I asked the guy at the window if I could get a medium VANILLA milkshake and he said okay. I had to pay almost 4 dollars for it. When the guy handed it to my mom, she handed it to me. It was chocolate. I told the guy “I said vanilla” and he said “we don’t have vanilla”. WHAT??? I paid almost 4 dollars for something I didn’t want. I ended up just telling my mom to drive off. I figured I’d make myself drink it. There was something wrong with it, it was very grainy and had like some darker brown specs in it. It didn’t even really taste like a chocolate milkshake, it tasted like those little Debby Swiss rolls (which are good but it’s not the right type of chocolate for a milkshake). So, I spent the next 45 minutes driving around to 4 other fast food places trying to find somewhere that had milkshakes. Ended up paying 6 dollars at Freddy’s when I could’ve paid 3 at White Castle if they had vanilla. But seriously, why tell me okay after I told you I wanted a vanilla milkshake then give me a chocolate one. Also, why say “we don’t have vanilla” rather than giving me a refund?? Read moreMade a new visit at about 12:30 in the afternoon. Went inside because drive-thru was wrapped around the building. They were extremely short handed so I was really willing to give them a pass on any reasonable wait. A gentleman who was already there and waiting for a good bit was given his order after I received mine which just seemed wrong to me.
Cashier seemed overwhelmed. Drink machine in dining area showed it had lemonades. Had a sign even by registers that stated had 3 new flavors. However, when pressed for Minute Maid Lemonades those flavors weren't there and rest all stated not "Not Available ". One young man, who was a cook, came to counter with food I had ordered and I asked about it. He was surprised, but took my drink cups to the Drive-Thru drink machine and filled the cups with requested flavors. He was a very nice, professional and courteous young man. Tried to be as helpful as he could by adding napkins. Straws, dips, and bagged drinks to make easy carrying.
The cashier lost them 1 star, the lacking drink machine a 2nd star, 3rd star lost due to cup lids that didn't properly fit. In bag and out when picked up using side of cup the lids pop off. Bad when adult is drinking. Worse if it's a child...
Read moreThis location is poorly run by employees who do not care if they do not get your order correct or if you even receive all of your items. The service at this location has gotten worse recently. Tonight they were not taking new orders until they finished with the car ahead of you creating long lines to begin with but somehow they manage to lose your order and try to charge random amounts for different food. After placing my order with the person working the drive thru for a third time but the first face to face I receive an incomplete order. The doors are locked to the lobby so you are unable to retrieve the missing items unless you wait another 30+ minutes to go through the drive through again. Made several attempts to call the restaurant as that was my only way to speak to someone and they will not answer the phone. Hopefully White Castle realizes they are getting a bad name from this location and pulls the name from this...
