Lost & Found — Restaurant in Saint Petersburg

I recently visited lost and found and was appalled by how I was treated regarding my service animal. Under the ADA, individuals with service animals are legally allowed full access to all areas where the public is permitted, and they cannot be segregated or denied entry. Despite this, I was refused access and treated with outright rudeness and discrimination. The woman I spoke with was dismissive and showed no understanding of the law or my rights.

Businesses have a legal and ethical duty to accommodate service animals and treat all guests with respect. Denying access and segregating individuals with disabilities is not only unacceptable but also illegal. I hope lost and found takes immediate steps to educate their staff and comply with the law to prevent this kind of discrimination in the future. Please reach out to me regarding this

I came here to talk about how we’re Canadian and weren’t allowed in because of your terrible security ( who btw let me with my Canadian license , because he’s lazy and didn’t look at it) but refused to let in my two friends with the SAME govt. issued ID…. Only to see the last bad review from 3 weeks ago was the SAME occurrence. Maybe your bouncer who is lazy is just an asshole? Also if he cared to look over the acceptable forms of identification in Florida under the ABT, Canadian licenses are listed . Just a sad sight to see after the wreckage , turning away money because you don’t care to know your job. Flat out yelling at tourist who just wanna throw cash , that we’re “ILLEGAL”.
