After booking many parties here we won't ever again! Due to a very rude staff member a younger women with glasses and short hair, she was making ugly comments walking around with an angry look on her face for leaving the party room 6 mins over our time when we just cleaned everything stacking chairs and tables, other staff was already in there setting up while we where loading stuff in the car that was outside of the party room, I understand we went over time by 6 minutes while cleaning but to have an ugly attitude towards customers and make it super uncomfortable while we were leaving, I feel someone miserable like that shouldn't be there working at a happy place for kids especially walking around swearing cuss words and saying rude remarks in the lobby as we were leaving its so unprofessional and unpleasant that the kids had to be around that and see it, all the other staff was very nice as we were cleaning up when they came to help at 1pm until we were completely out of the party room at 1:06 and they started setting up for the next party, so if your planning a party here beware of rude staff and dare not to be in the party room 1 minute past your time not...
Read moreWe loved being able to visit the Salem Carousel downtown! 🎠 It's super convenient for families and accessible for those with disabilities. It's right beside the waterfront park so make a day out of it! The gift shop is attached to the carousel and you can buy your tokens to ride here. The price is perfect! The kiddos love dropping their tokens in the box before they ride. The carousel is super cute, clean, and fun! All the animals are so creative and bright. My little one had a hard time choosing her favorite for each ride. If you have a toddler or younger kiddo you can ride beside for free. Masks required here and there is hand sanitizer available. The staff does a great job of keeping things here clean and they have a good routine to sanitize between each ride. Great place to visit if you're traveling with kids or anyone who's young at heart. Highly recommend. I love to support this place! ❤
☆Review Update☆ We still love this place and try and go once a week to support them! They have lots of fun activities for kiddos around holidays (Chrsitmas, Valentines Day). You can even rent their party room, which...
Read moreThe carousel and the guy running it were great, but unfortunately that's where it ends. The lady running the gift shop had a rude attitude and left us wishing we had never stopped. We walked in to the gift shop well aware what time they closed, but she had to inform us with a snarky tone that they closed in 10 minutes. Then when we had decided to buy an ornament, because that is the only thing in the gift shop carousel related she had to mutter something about getting a dirty look, yes if you're rude you will get dirty looks from people. When she was confronted about her attitude it didn't get any better. Then to top it off another guy working there with a mouth full of rotten teeth had to follow us to the door and double down on the rude behavior and say something to us about how WE the paying customers were acting, when he should be speaking to the lady in the gift shop about her attitude. The way they acted towards paying customers sparked the whole confrontation and then the dude with the rotten teeth had to escalate it even further....
