Smokey's Gift Shop — Attraction in Salem

Extreme level of prejudice and Passive Aggression. -- I want to highlight that I had never experienced this here before, the employees were Fantastic, Tranquil and Adequate. I have come in here a couple times and Today will be my last. Immediately upon entering my Fiance and I, were met with hostility and discriminate passivity. I kindly told the Employee what we had come there for, and It was an immediate bother to the Store Employee, named John. He proceeded to roll his eyes and ask if this was my first time there, or? Instead of just helping my Fiance and I with what I clearly so eloquently asked for. He Condescendingly then quizzes us on what we want, as if we can't get service until we answer his odd ambiguous questions about glass bangers. The oddest thing. Making it an uncomfortable space that was completely unnerving by this point, due to the sheer aggression and ademate unprofessionalism from this vessel named John. We didn't see anything we were going for, so we proceeded back to the front of the store. I then reminded that I also asked, if I may look at just a few vapes. He then Rudely asks "Well!? Do you at least know what you want?!" Scoffs and sits himself down crossing his arms. Making service not only completely cut off and inaccessable but Degrading and Exclusionary. What should have been a straightforward visit became a hostile, discriminatory encounter. This level of unprofessionalism is intolerable and calls into question the stores commitment to...

July 15th. I spent over $100 here took the corrective actions to buy this bag that is supposed to keep your bong/rig from breaking its very padded and all but I’ve only had it for less then 24 hours. I bought this before I had to work at 2pm so about 10-11am I came to Smokey’s. There’s no reason that my piece should have broke when it practically stayed in the bag and when it was put in the bag it was not broken. So I go explain to them that this bag did not keep my rig safe as it should and they only offered me 25 percent off after I spent a bunch of money on a bag that did not work. And now I don’t have a rig because the bag I trusted didn’t do it’s job. They didn’t offer me another piece to make up for there stuff not working or there workers not knowing what there doing apparently. This is the first and last time I’ll be coming in here. The owner and employees of this place are absolutely awesome they can take care of all your smoking needs answer questions and there's a little something for everybody in their shop. I am a veteran and they give me a 20% discount every time I'm there I appreciate this very much because I am living on a very small disability Pension from SSI so any time I could save money I appreciate it. Every time I've been in there they've had what I needed or had something to get me by till I could find exactly what I wanted and they've also set me in the right direction to find exactly what I want. The shop is clean the staff is clean and neat very polite and courteous and knowledgeable about all the products...
